The IDF have assassinated 5 journalists in a targeted attack, they explained it away as they were actually targeting a Hamas terrorist. As there is no independent journalist to verify this - I think this should be taken with a pinch of salt, as it is clear now that lies are being told by Netanyahu and his cohorts.

The British abstained from the UN vote. After the Parliamentary debate there was a subsequent Cabinet Meeting which discussed the issues and dates of withdrawal.
It is interesting to think about it in the context of the Partition of India within a short time frame.

I think it was more that the British didn’t know how to reconcile competing and irreconcilable demands. Not sure that gross unfairness was actually mentioned in Hansard . wwm2
