Much as I dislike Trump I believe he might have enough influence to achieve this.

Claremont looks like mission accomplished, doesn’t it!

Yes, and it works. As just seen on the previous page.

Absolutely!

Trump's answer was given. It's up to Israel if they invade Gaza- nothing to do with me.

Diabolical.

Starmer (on the fence) will continue to keep his family happy. Those people in Gaza do not concern the annihilators or their supporters.

I think he will continue to support Israel regardless of what the Israeli government does. He has no more care for the Palestinians living there than they do.

Or indeed, hamas.
Am not sure you’re right though as if it goes on too long I think Trump will push for an ending.

Not a good time to be a Palestinian! Trump doesn't have to be as bad as Hamas.

I agree.

Trump has made things worse in Gaza with his GHF that Gazans call death traps.

If the reports from the WH can be believed (and that is a moot point) Trump hates seeing starving children and when Netanyahu said it was all fake Trump shouted at him to get aid into Gaza.

Now Netanyahu is busy killing more people including it is thought highly likely the hostages. Aid is on the back burner.

AGAA4 Fri 08-Aug-25 16:12:19

Trump has said Netanyahu can do what he wants. He seems to have lost interest.
He really doesn't care about Gaza.

Hope more countries stop sending arms to Israel as Germany has done.
Why give Netanyahu the means to kill defenceless people.

Sorry but this is a pile-on- on anyone who highlights this terrible genocide. Antisemitism is being used, as in many other media, totally unfairly and wrongly, to shut down any criticism of Netanyahu's decisions, now to take over the whole of Gaza, and beyond.

Oreo Fri 08-Aug-25 15:52:16

I will kick off with what do posters think Trump will do next in the case of Gaza?

Oreo Fri 08-Aug-25 15:50:39

X post with LilyGransnet.

Then just keep remarks to the OP of the thread, it’s easy enough to do.

Hi all,

It’s fine to disagree about deletions or moderation decisions, but this thread is now drifting away from the original topic and turning into what's starting to look like a pile-on. That’s not in the spirit of the guidelines, and it makes it harder for everyone to join in the discussion.

We understand this is a sensitive subject, and differences of opinion are natural, but please keep your posts focused on the thread topic rather than on other posters. If you’d like to discuss specific moderation actions, you’re welcome to do so via email or reports.

My post was deleted just because I said I hadn't read any antisemitic posts. Obviously I'm not allowed an opinion.

😄😄😄 it is getting ridiculous

😄😄 yes I got zapped because I said that the moderators need to read up on antisemitism!

This will probably be zapped as well.

LizzieDrip Fri 08-Aug-25 15:37:57

I’m lost here!

Have the several posts above been deleted because of antisemitism?

I read them - they were not antisemitic.

I agree with WW, the moderators need to familiarise themselves with the agreed definition of antisemitism!

If everyone would just keep their comments about the conflict in Gaza and the Israeli government to exactly that then it would be so much better for the thread.I sadly don’t think that they will.

Pot and kettle springs to mind here.

All my posts are about the conflict in Gaza.
