The Entertainer stores boss is a breath of fresh air

An ethical and thoughtful boss indeed and an example of how staff should be treated.

I would never buy stuff from The Entertainer as at least 90% of it is plastic.

I agree. I hope the business continues to be successful and the staff continue to operate within his beliefs.

Gary Grant who started The Entertainer shops over 40 years ago has retired and is passing all the shares over to his 1,900 employess in a trust. His staff will have a say in how the business runs and will get a share of the profits. He has never opened his shops on Sundays in keeping with his Christian faith and a belief that Sundays were family time. Sounds like a lovely boss to me.
