It isn’t a case of ‘either/or’ Annie. Nobody I know supports Hamas, and in the beginning most people were cheering Israel on because of the atrocities committed on Oct 7th, western governments were falling over themselves to show support for Netanyahu.
But now support has dropped off because the majority of people cannot support genocide.
A simple ‘either/or’ argument is offensive to those who don’t support Hamas and could backfire inasmuch as others could say those supporting Netanyahu are in favour of genocide.
Nothing is ever that black and white and I think you know this, you are, as usual, being disingenuous.

May I just point something out?
In London, just two days after the hamas massacre in Israel, hundreds of Israel haters were marching in support of Palestinians.On the 15th Oct 2023 it was thousands and in November 2023 it was 300,000.
That isn’t support dropping off this year. Hatred of Israel and antisemitism are rife in this country.

Israel holds 75% of Gaza now.

The leader of the IDF has had angry exchanges with the government. He fears for the hostages and thinks that taking back half the hostages should have happened. Now it's probable that all the hostages will be killed in this offensive.

The way I understand is that half the hostages still alive will be returned together with the remains of those who were killed, and the other half will be released later, on the condition that the ceasefire lasts.

Yes, Jeremy Bowen has been reporting from Jerusalem as he, and all other international journalists, are forbidden from entering Gaza. They, and we, are reliant on reports from people inside Gaza, some of whom are British medics whose accounts are pretty damning.

1.
Can a PM voted into office December 2022 , start a war in October 2023 to avoid a court trial.

2. Can an Israeli PM order a lack of security for his country for one day enabling terrorists to invade his country, not a squeak from any defence of Israel , still not a squeak ?

3. Can a group of terrorists who rape and video the rape on the victims phone and sexually abuse little ones, set fire to a home where families are locked in, take hostage bodies of their victims back to their hideouts. Strangle 2 little boys and murder their mother , return the little bodies whilst
crowds of their supporters/fellow terrorists cheer and laugh
be believed ?

If independent international journalists are not allowed in Gaza ! Jeremy Bowen reporting from where? I have not seen any film of malnourished people, highly reputable sources ?

You are just being so ridiculous now anniebach. Are you really saying that all the death and starvation reports, many from highly reputable sources, are extremely exaggerrated? Are all these people and organisations on Hamas's payroll? Have you watched any of the TV footage and the reports by very highly respected journalists like Jeremy Bowen? British doctors have recounted seeing different patterns of shooting injuries each day, which indicated that Palestinians were being used as target practice. Are you saying these doctors are not to be believed?

If you are so sure that Israel is behaving in a civilised and lawful way, why has it, from the outset, forbidden independent international journalists to enter Gaza? They are, of course, not worried about killing Gazan journalists or Gazan civilian reporters because they can simply say that they were terrorists. But if they allowed journalists from other countries to enter Gaza there would be far more scrutiny of Israel's shootings and bombings and of the circumstances in which reporters were being killed.

Israel in pursuit of Hamas have killed over 63000 Palestinians. Only 8000 of those were Hamas. A third of those killed were children so obviously not Hamas.
