Teen who planned mosque mass murder given 10-year sentence

Where are the parents in all this? Do they realise what is going on with their children or are they totally ignorant ? I think I would know if my kids were radicalised to that extent because kids talk and you would hear them or at least overhear them. You would know something isn’t right.

Hardly any parents are aware of what their kids are doing, computer wise and short of standing behind them and checking computers and phones constantly how can anyone know what they are doing or who they are talking to or listening to.

The ideas are coming from adults. Adults could start off by setting an example. IMO we need to question claims about free speech, including (especially) politicians.

I was hoping to focus on the age of those radicalised rather than the religion. To me, it doesn't matter whether the target is a mosque, synagogue or knit and natter group. There are actually many many radicalised far-right teenagers in this country. Many of them have been charged and convicted.

One can be named, the other cannot even though they are only two years apart in age.
The older one received only an eight year sentence - why?

Old enough to plan mass murders but not old enough to be named. He'll be out again in a few years so I hope he can be de-radicalised wherever he is sent and doesn't meet like-minded people inside.
