There has never been a case in recent history where striking numerous countries and so expanding a conflict has had a peaceful/beneficial result.
This can only make matters worse and ensure more bloodshed and less safety/security for Israel.

A father of a hostage has said he is shaking because Netanyahu has blown up any chance of a deal. His son he says is as good as dead.

Don’t forget that negotiation has ensured nearly 150 hostages have been released, whilst violence has only rescued 8.

The gunmen who attacked the people at the bus stop were from the West Bank. This is what was done in retaliation.
In response, Israeli authorities launched operations in nearby areas, including Ramallah, to prevent further attacks.
