Bring your pitchforks 😉

eazybee Wed 10-Sept-25 20:05:57

No reason for anyone to listen.

Chocolatelovinggran Thu 11-Sept-25 06:16:28

I don't understand Shinamae.

love0c Thu 11-Sept-25 06:58:13

Shinamae pitchforks kill! Disgusting! Charlie Kirk was shot dead yesterday. Think on!!!

Kandinsky Thu 11-Sept-25 07:06:03

What a disgusting thread.
Inciting violence on a politician.

Shinamae
Can you explain why you started this thread? hmm

Oreo Thu 11-Sept-25 09:14:36

Until Shinamae arrives I think I can help out… she thinks all the Farage haters will soon be out in force and is only anticipating that fact😁 any mention of Farage or GB News, which is often quite good btw brings some out in a rash at the mere mention of them.

Oreo Thu 11-Sept-25 09:15:40

She isn’t inciting violence, just the opposite.

LizzieDrip Thu 11-Sept-25 09:19:19

So, she’s accusing all ‘Farage haters’ of wishing to do physical harm to him?

Ladyleftfieldlover Thu 11-Sept-25 09:20:11

I think I’d rather shave my head and smear it with marmalade than listen to two hours of Farage. Even two minutes would be enough. So I’m very pleased I don’t have to listen to him.

Oreo Thu 11-Sept-25 09:32:07

Pitchforks is a metaphor, surely you know that?

Galaxy Thu 11-Sept-25 09:36:13

Don't you be starting with your subtleties of the English language now Oreo grin

Oreo Thu 11-Sept-25 09:41:50

😁alright, I’ll get me coat.

LizzieDrip Thu 11-Sept-25 09:46:15

Is that addressed specifically to me Oreo?

Oreo Thu 11-Sept-25 09:50:31

No, it isn’t.😃

LizzieDrip Thu 11-Sept-25 09:52:30

Fine!

Actually, who cares!

Chocolatelovinggran Thu 11-Sept-25 12:34:53

I understood that this was Mr Farage's paid work.
Is a two hour slot unusual?

The most he will do without a fag break I’d imagine.

spottybook Thu 11-Sept-25 12:53:04

I would rather hear Farage talk for two hours than Starmer droning on.

flump Thu 11-Sept-25 12:55:13

When does he do any constituency work? He's paid to do that too!
How many times has he missed parliament when other more lucrative offers come up?

"I'm just asking a questions." I think that's the quote.

Oh c’mon is an oft used phrase when someone is referring to a controversial figure.

westendgirl Thu 11-Sept-25 13:12:27

Farage's work record is not good. His attendance at the European Parliament was appalling.Happy to take the salary , but as for attending the appropriate meeting /assembly, forget that.~That is one of the reasons I can not trust the man.

No, it’s a phrase used when someone wants to start a missive ‘pile on’ - It’s nasty & vindictive & I’m not surprised the op is hiding.

Well his constituents have hardly seen him, he spends more time in the US than in his constituency. Though those who voted him in thoroughly deserve to be disappointed, after all the man has form when it comes to being workshy.
