What on earth were 'they' thinking when this was promised? An already convicted felon, a misogynist, a racist, a man who exploits his position to incite violent, deadly, destructive riots? What in the name of God can justify this? Trade deals? He could renege on those on a whim! And in any case, does money make it justifiable? Why hasn't the King said no to this? How do you explain to young people that all the things you have taught them about right and wrong can be forgotten...because this vile bully must be appeased? I am incensed.

I feel sorry for Charles and Camilla and the rest of the Royal Family who have to entertain him.
Keep smiling grin
It's only a couple of days.

The best thing would be if everyone just totally ignored the visit. They won’t of course and Trump will revel in the reception be it positive or negative.

I shall not be surprised if the visit is cancelled at the last minute. A security alert. Or Charles will be unwell and "sadly have to postpone the visit " .

Anything rather than be asked by Trump about Mandelson/ Epstein/ security/ P Harry/ asylum seekers

Groan! What On earth is the point of him. What has he achieved except chaos in the USA?

Think of the cost to the UK, the cancelled Police rest days and holidays (and presumably those of other people involved, Marshall’s etc). We don’t even want him here!

Security will have to be sky high and protests are predicted as one the most unpopular world leaders comes to visit the royal family.
