Trump has told Arab leaders that he won't allow the west bank to be annexed. It would be a red line for Netanyahu to cross.
There's no certainty what either of those two men will do next.

Hamas has issued a statement saying that they recognise Keir Starmer and Emanuel Macron as Honorary Members since they have recognised Gaza/Palestine as a State.

They must be both thrilled. All those recognising Palestine as a state have said that Hamas will take no part in governing it. Hamas will know that so it's just an attempt to validate themselves.

I think they’ll be lucky to have 500 willing to die for their misbegotten cause.

I didn’t refer to the Holocaust as that old chestnut because I believe it is extremely important to remember the horrors people an inflict upon others.
