4 of the 5 conditions are fulfilled.

UN report.

People can be "politically engaged" but it doesn't necessarily turn them into liars neither does finding a few doctors with extreme ideas tarnish the reputations of all doctors. This is just using stereotyping to prop up a weak argument. I have heard several British doctors report on the inhumanity that they have seen with their own eyes but I have yet to find any evidence that they are telling lies. If anyone has "evidence" this is an opportunity to show it.

Good post

Golda Meir (Prime Minister of Israel 1969-1974) said this:
“When peace comes we will perhaps in time be able to forgive them for killing our sons, but it will be harder for us to forgive them for having forced us to kill their sons. Peace will come when they love their children more than they hate us.”

These wonderfully astute words reveal the unbridgeable moral chasm between Israel and the Palestinians.

Tragically, the Palestinian apologists are too blinkered by their irrational antisemitism to accept this simple but profound truth.

Nothing could have be so graphically stated as looking at the empty hall and Israel’s isolation.

I disagree.
The sainted (posturing, ineffectual) UN behaving like the 3 wise monkeys.
Childish behaviour.

Exactly LizzieDrip. If they were conducting the war by the rules they wouldn't need to hide from journalists. This brutal Israeli regime has slaughtered thousands of innocents and thought they would get away with it if nobody was watching.
Unfortunately for them there are always ways and means to get news out and the world has been watching.

The thing is we just don’t know do we AGAA4 and the ones working there must have some kind of affinity with Palestinians or they wouldn’t be there.
Two of the returned hostages were kept in the home of a medical doctor.

If only the world’s journalists were allowed in to Gaza to shine a spotlight on what’s happening, then we wouldn’t have to rely on Hamas or Israel or (God forbid) doctors!

I wonder why Israel doesn’t want a spotlight shone on what they’re doing🤔

Empathy and kindness won’t rid Gaza of the vile hamas, that’s the thing. They have to go, and at the moment are still hanging on.Don’t think it will be too long now tho.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 26-Sept-25 16:26:03

We can listen to how upset Jewish people are. I was listening to a British Jewish lady who had phoned in on a chat show, who was appalled at Netanyahu and what was happening to Gaza - her phone call was one of empathy, and kindness as she reached out to Palestinians.

Oreo Fri 26-Sept-25 16:23:41

Many Jews in Israel and elsewhere are glad that the Israeli government is taking such a hard line in Gaza.If it wasn’t for the hostage situation you wouldn’t find many Israelis complaining either.
Sympathy for Palestinians is a different thing to having Palestinian political sympathies btw.Apples and pears.

Whitewavemark2 Fri 26-Sept-25 16:19:19

I might add that I am also sympathetic to the worlds Jews having to live with the repercussions of such a criminal government as Israel.

That’s a loaded question. There are many good doctors who participate in third world countries or anywhere that has a state of emergency.
There will be many such working in Gaza, but there will also be doctors with Palestinian sympathies who are politically engaged as well.

Why shouldn’t the doctors be sympathetic to the Palestinians?

I am sympathetic to the Palestinians - and I think you will find that the UN is sympathetic to the Palestinians as are many many millions of the worlds population.

AGAA4 Fri 26-Sept-25 16:15:38

How do you know that Oreo. Is it just another assumption without any evidence?

I’ll dismiss the personal attack Whitewavemark2 as I have come to expect nothing less from you.

I certainly don’t trust many of the opinions from doctors in Gaza for many reasons.

What is interesting in this is that neither of the two main players want a two state solution.

Both for not such different reasons either. Both want to retain control over Gaza and keep the PA -who is the authority that the Arab world respects - out.

That's fine and just your opinion but there will be many who will believe the doctors.

I imagine they do want to help Palestinians in Gaza, if you want to call that having an affinity with them so be it, I mean what is wrong with wanting to save the lives of those suffering horrendously in Gaza.
I imagine it would be silly trying to help Israelis in Israeli hospitals, none of them are bombed and I imagine most Israelis have a state of the art health system.

Agree AGAA4
One doctor does not speak for every doctor in Gaza. Many of whom risk life and limb trying to save lives without the necessary equipment or medication.
To dismiss them routinely like this is pretty low.

One has come to expect nothing less.

AGAA4 Fri 26-Sept-25 15:51:08

Many of those doctors work in other parts of the world too Oreo not just Gaza. All they are doing is helping those who have been shot, starved and otherwise injured by Israel. They are not involved in fighting Israel.

Enormous protest marches, the one in New York being led by thousands of Jews.

I assume they were all wearing Star of David, but to count the numbers !

Too much respect is handed to doctors sometimes, especially those in Gaza who may well have the same hatred of Jews as she does.

Unfair assumptions on the doctors in Gaza. Trying to dismiss all the horrors meted out on the Gazans that these doctors see by calling them antisemitic.
