Mar a Lago is not an hotel in the conventional sense. You must be a member of the club to stay there, so more akin to the London clubs.

There's no doubt that Trump was linked to Epstein who claimed he had sold "a depreciated" woman (one who had been well used) to Trump.

Are you muddling Mar a Lago with Epstein’s home?

Maxwell recruited Guiffre and incidentally a lot of other very young women from Mar a Lago and took them to Epstein’s home.

Being employed as a masseuse is a lot difference to what happened with Epstein and Maxwell.

I am not usually a tinfoil hat wearer but Epstein's suicide and Virginia Giuffre's accident and subsequent suicide seem rather fishy.

There have been a couple of other incidents, over the years, unconnected with Epstein, that have made me wonder. Perhaps I should add Bacofoil to my next supermarket order after all.

Well looks like Trump has scored an own goal here, probably hoping the whole Epstein thing would fade away after he was ejected or that he could control how the information was released, making sure that there was no damning evidence against him.
He must be really rattled now, as must many influential and wealthy men.

Let’s have a reckoning for all those poor girls, many underage and picked up from outside school gates, used and abused by these men.

I think, Oreo that Babs03 is referring to schoolgirls who were recruited by Maxwell in New York and Paris, and then abused by them both.

annie you are correct that Guiffre wanted to train as a masseuse. That is how Maxwell caught her in the web, by promising a job as a masseuse.

I am glad someone brought up Q-anon. It hasn't been really a thing around here since 2020ish, I guess, so I haven't thought about it in a while.

The (very basic explanation, since I don't want to go down that rabbit hole) thought process of Q-anon was that there were Democrats trafficking children. Pizza gate and all that. I very distinctly remember my sister, who jumped into Q-anon and MAGA with both feet, trying to "one-up" me because Q told them the British Royal family kidnaps children and then uses them for the family to hunt through the woods on horseback.

I have always had interest in the royal family and the history of the British Monarchy, so she was very happily trying to put me in my place because she had "insider secrets" from Q. For a long time, she thought Q was Trump himself.

These emails are showing that it isn't JUST Democrats trafficking children. It is many men and women in high power positions who look at the rest of us as plebs to earn them wealth.

While I hope she is seeing the truth come out and processing it, she is typical MAGA though and the disconnect they have between Trump the real man and Trump their hero is still real.

Last I saw when I went to bed is that Johnson plans a vote on release of the files for next week. I suspect that Boebart and Mace will have been talked out of voting for their release by then.

Boebart was summoned to the Situation Room yesterday to talk to Trump and his team and she didn't remove her name from the petition yesterday. So everyone is calling that a win.

I can't believe the near future of our country depends on the votes of a woman who gave a hand job in a theater and a woman who literally makes up assault charges after someone shook her hand.

I feel like I am on candid camera some days. There are very large portions of the population in the US that have just clearly jumped ship on rational thinking.

I think this stupid story may have started with Lord Redesdale (father of the Mitford girls) who was rumoured to have invented a game where he chased his numerous children on horseback.

Oreo just because there are people who believe in conspiracy theories, it doesn't mean there are no conspiracies. I have said in my post "that I have yet to be convinced that Epstein committed suicide" There are unexplained issues over why the guards who were supposed to be keeping a watch on Epstein deserted their post and also there is evidence that a small portion of the tape recording of activity outside Epstein's cell is missing.

Magenta8, yes I've heard that about Lord Redesdale. I think I read about it in his daughter's book Hons and Rebels.
