Still trying to put forward different sources of information for those who want to spread the input they get. This is what was covered:

Donald Trump’s renewed push on Greenland sparks backlash as UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer warns against escalating tariffs and trade chaos. This video breaks down how Trump’s Arctic gamble is straining NATO alliances, destabilizing global trade, and raising serious questions about American leadership, diplomacy, and economic consequences. We examine what Starmer’s warning really means, why allies are pushing back, and how this conflict could impact workers, businesses, and international stability.

(This video presents political analysis and commentary based on publicly available information, reporting, and expert opinion. It does not claim insider knowledge and should not be interpreted as factual confirmation of undisclosed events. Viewers are encouraged to consult multiple sources and form their own conclusions)

Who are these youtube contributors?

I’ll share my take on this channel this time, but getting a wider view really means doing some of that work yourself.

In the UK, what’s often called “well sourced” tends to lean right and comes from well-funded media and think tanks. That polish can look like neutrality, even when it isn’t.

Every opinion has bias. Wealth doesn’t remove it, it just makes it less visible. Left-leaning or anti-Trump voices aren’t necessarily less honest, just more explicit about their values.

The important thing is to read critically and ask why an argument is being made, whoever is making it.

That is a long, but very informative video. Just get yourself a cup of tea/coffee and have a go.
Covers so much.

I only found out about this yesterday
“As U.S. President Donald Trump continues his push to acquire Greenland, there is talk on social media about whether consumers should boycott products made by the cosmetics company Estée Lauder and its affiliate brands in response.

Since Jan. 15, and especially over the weekend of Jan. 17 and Jan. 18, there have been spikes in postings on social media pushing for this new boycott of Estée Lauder, according to Google Trends analytics.

Some of these posts, including on Reddit, X (formerly Twitter) and Bluesky feature users reacting to a report published by The Guardian on Jan. 15 that American businessman Ronald Lauder, the heir to the Estée Lauder company, was an alleged advocate of Trump’s plans during his first term to take over the Danish territory”

U.S.-based Estée Lauder is the flagship brand and parent company of Clinique, MAC Cosmetics, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone London, Aveda and Tom Ford, among dozens of others

MayBee70 Oh dear, on a purely selfish level there is no way I am going to not use my Jo Malone stash I can find alternatives to the others…

I don’t think he told me anything I didn’t know.
To be honest he was copying trump by regurgitating words.
There was a far more interesting take on the situation on Radio 4 today.
It covered in detail how relations are changing between the big players and China. For the first time ever, Chinese state TV showed Mark Carneys speech and Trumps.
