To be honest he was copying trump by regurgitating words.
There was a far more interesting take on the situation on Radio 4 today.
It covered in detail how relations are changing between the big players and China. For the first time ever, Chinese state TV showed Mark Carneys speech and Trumps.

I’ll share my take on this channel this time, but getting a wider view really means doing some of that work yourself.

In the UK, what’s often called “well sourced” tends to lean right and comes from well-funded media and think tanks. That polish can look like neutrality, even when it isn’t.

Every opinion has bias. Wealth doesn’t remove it, it just makes it less visible. Left-leaning or anti-Trump voices aren’t necessarily less honest, just more explicit about their values.

The important thing is to read critically and ask why an argument is being made, whoever is making it.
