An upside down US flag is a sign of distress. Send help. It has morphed into a sign of the resistance.

Voters can choose a President once every 4 years. The only other way they can influence the Presidency is to vote out all Republicans at mid-terms and let the Democrats Impeach and Convict him.

There is another way to remove him, and I saw a quick headline this morning that someone may have tried that route again today? Not sure if it was a recent or an old article and I haven't looked it up yet. In any case, it was unsuccessful again.

How do voters remove politicians where you are?

I wonder how those closest to him, who have been complicit in obfuscation and outright lying, are feeling?

Yes keeping. The House would vote to impeach him. The Senate would convict and remove. Nixon resigned before this happened.

One man stands in the way. Mike Johnson, speaker of the house. Well, that and a bunch of Republicans.

Examples:

Clinton was impeached, but not convicted or removed.
Trump #1, impeached 2 (maybe 3) times and not removed.

What I want to know is what are the systems in place to get rid of a sitting President? I know Nixon was forced to resign but Trump would never be so 'honourable' and those around him are clinging like limpets.

Maybe there is more going on in the background than we are aware of?
