Israel and US hit Iran

The US and Israel are at war with Iran. Many lives will be lost. Trump has told Americans there will be casualties.

The US has not listened to the Arab states and has taken the advice from Israel to go war with Iran.
Talks had been going on with Iran who asked for time to consider the terms. This only a few days ago but the US have now attacked.

Arab states would but give the US clearance to hit Iran by air, which is why they went by sea, Israel obviously doesn’t need clearance to hit Iran by air. There will be many innocent lives lost.

It’s what so many Iranians have been crying out for. Taking away any chance of them acquiring nuclear weapons, destroying their missiles and hopefully effecting regime change there.

The regime in Iran is like Putin’s Russia, agree to talks about talks, ask for more time, prevaricate and blow hot and cold while grinning and building up their arms.

I understand that regime change is needed in Iran but am not sure this is the way. If innocent civilian lives mount up, which they probably will, the population may cease to see this as liberation and rally round the regime and the military.
It could just go horrendously wrong and the cost to human lives will high.

There is no right way. It could be wrong to attack, it could be wrong not to attack.
There is no 'good' decision.

What is Trump's purpose and how will he know if he's achieved it? If it is regime change then I think this is going to be a bloody and long war which the American people will not like. It is completely contrary to what Trump promised them! I think he's taking the world even further into danger of a world war.

The US is able to cripple Iran but Im not sure it will bring about regime change, it will certainly increase suffering of civilians. Iran really does need to renounce nuclear weapons and end its sponsorship of terrorism because the US can go back time and again, that is not in the best interests of Iranians.
