Where Iran is concerned this action is absolutely the right thing to do and I wish it had been done earlier.
The regime is evil both where its own people are concerned and so many countries that it pays and supplies arms to its proxies to bring death and destruction to.
With a country like Iran no need for worrying if it’s illegal or not, that’s laughable. Do it now, and fast.

Innocent people in Iran may not all be happy about his assassination.
In fact, possibly more than half of the population support the regime, including women.
If you cast your mind back to those assaults on the women and girls showing their hair in public, their assailants were women.

Am sorry ronib but must agree to disagree on that. You obviously feel very strongly about this and believe me I can’t even begin to imagine how dreadful the Hamas attack on innocent Israelis was. But I fear there will be more not less such attacks after Trump and Netanyahu’s actions against Iran. Surely the aim is to make the region safer. Right now and am sure for a long time into the future innocent people living in Israel are not going to feel safe, far from it.

The foundation of a civilised country is to obey the law, both nationally and internationally. So the rules of engagement are essential as is obeying international laws during wartime.
If we are ripping this up then am afraid this world will go to hell on a handcart.
How rogue nations behave or how terrorist organisations behave does not require us to behave similarly.

There are no rules of engagement for terrorists but I don't believe the US are terrorists.
They have acted illegally but not the same as the attack on Israel.

It’s possible Trump feared Congress would oppose this dangerous attack on Iran. I suspect that’s why they weren’t asked

I agree with Casdon and others who recognise the fine line KS is managing, I’m relieved Trump is cross with him. I hope KS continues to remind us of the disaster that’s followed previous attempts by western powers for regime change as well as Iraq

Yes ronib, the situation is both appalling and illegal.

The initial attack had to be secret otherwise it wouldn’t have worked. Having got rid of the top tier is a legitimate war aim. Israel is fully committed to fighting with the USA against Iran. There seems no end in sight? This problem isn’t going away.
