Israel and US hit Iran

Anyone know how this war ends?

I don't think it's entirely to do with freeing the people from a regime neither do I sixandahalf.

Poor Clive Myrie in the thick of it saying a hotel has been bombed in Dubai!!!

Exactly so.

Anyone know the last time Iran started a war?

It's quite ridiculous what is being said here.

I don't think it's entirely to do with freeing the people from a regime.

The UK has military bases in the Middle East. We now have RAF planes in the air to protect those bases. What will happen if they are attacked? I’m am very concerned is this the beginning?

I think Trump sees this as preventing things escalating in the Middle East. Iran is the biggest threat to the area. Sadly innocent people will get killed.

Will this lead to a repeat of 9/11?

You're doing it again. Why can't you concentrate on what is actually happening.

.....which is that Trump is facing mid-terms so right now seems the right time. Evil, evil man.
He's stirred up a hornets nest and I fail to see how this is justified.

How can bombing children in a school be justified - oh, so angry.

What did they expect, Iran to just sit still and take it?

I hope this brings Trump down finally.

The regime have got form for killing their own people.

My thoughts are with the Iranian people who mostly want rid of the murderous regime they are living under. There's no easy way for their freedom to be realised

If you get to see photos of the school buildings where the tragedy happened, you may notice that it is/was a building not located very near others.
With all of the superior skill and technology of the aggresor, why was this school a target?

“According to Iranian government sources, the number of people killed at Minab Girls' Primary School has risen to 85.”

Heartbreaking💔

I suppose those supporting this aggression will refer to it as ‘collateral damage’.

I think that we can be pretty certain that Israel is intent on perpetual war. À la Orwell.

Trump of course has the mid-terms, Epstein and poll numbers to frighten him. But what he is doing is totally illegal.

And of course Netanyahu is still on trial for corruption. He’s trying to get a pardon from his President and being involved in a war is one of the grounds for asking for the pardon

Will this lead to a repeat of 9/11?

Of course the Democrats are questioning the decision. I would hardly call it 'war'.

Meanwhile back home in the US the Democrats are declaring war on Trump for attacking Iran without congress approval

I'm concerned that with the IDFs track record that more children will be killed. The war had hardly begun when they hit a school.

Whitewavemark2

Doesn’t Congress have to authorise this?

Still I suppose it takes the voters’ minds off Epstein and the dismal poll ratings.

Exactly my thoughts. When Hilary Clinton denied ever meeting Epstein but said she knew a man who did -Trump - and he should be investigated ……Well that put him in a corner which was already a tight fit. What to do? Well a good war should do the trick! It worked for Thatcher when she was well down in the polls. The Falklands met the criteria to show her as a proud, brave, patriotic leader.

Such an escalation. To what valid purpose?

Exactly. It’s not even as if Trump himself knows. And then there’s the afterwards- which obviously he has contingency plans for

Such an escalation. To what valid purpose?

Facts are considered to be 'whataboutery' when a Poster doesn't like the reminder.

I have a British friend in Dubai. They are obviously staying in place. Everytime a missile is intercepted, their house shakes. They are very scared of course but at least communications are still open. It seems do strange to be WAing her live whilst this goes on

Ditto.

My friend has just WhatsApp’d me, they can see smoke, hear the planes/missiles overhead along with their building shaking.

All airports in the region closed.

My best and longest standing friend is currently in Dubai babysitting.

We also have several friends who have relocated out there.

A very worrying time 🤞🏻
