It’s the first time in history that the technology exists to take out a government which doesn’t have wide approval from outside powers. Whether this is used for the greater good and benefit remains unclear. However I think it gives the government in charge of the technology unlimited powers and control. Too sci-fi? But it’s happened.
The program was written by a us tech company called Palantir.
The owner started PayPal.
This company were also awarded an nhs contract worth £440ml.I thought they were using Claude, AI developed by Anthropic.
Yes it is Claude, according to the GCHQ chap.
This is one article I read.
Obviously the world and his wife have their noses in our NHS.

One reason that that some don’t want this company is that they want all our personal details.
But not to worry. In another article NHS England assured us that this info wouldn’t be passed over to them.
This must be a joke 🤦🏼♀️ Do they know who they are dealing with. Palantir is a spy tech company
It would be as easy as taking sweets off a baby.
And these people ( NHS England) are in charge of all our personal data 😡
Not denying that, Petra. Palantir has a big contract with the MOD as well.
It's just that it isn't used by the US military.
Though it could well happen as Anthropic refused to allow Claude to be used for domestic civilian surveillance and autonomous firing of weapons. Trump threw a wobbly about that and said that no-one was allowed to use it in future. Its contract with the US military has 6 months to run.
I believe other AI companies have fewer scruples than Anthropic.
Autonomous firing of weaponry (i.e with no human direction) sounds terrifying to me.
