Thats probably an underestimate! the US GDP is $32,000 billion, 1 billion even 3 billion a day is not important for 3 reasons

1)They are mainly using up obsolete Cold War weapons. B52s free fall bombs, even the cruise missiles are 30 yrs old

2) Industry in the US is going to make all the new generation of weaponry, make a great deal of money and pay a lot wages and tax on the profits.

3) The US will recoup it quickly as it did in WW2, compare to what the US achieved then, Iran is chicken feed

All that is assuming Trump wins, now that the war has started it has to be finished

Billions but it's not coming out of Trump's pocket, it's being paid for by American citizens. It is more than likely that Trump ie the Trump family is making money out of this war.

His son in law runs an investment fund that manages billions of dollars invested by the Gulf states and it invests heavily in American and Israeli businesses. A tip off from the White House prior to major events can lead to huge gains. there is also evidence yet again of what seems like insider trading prior to the start of this war.

No. And of course the impact of this will lead to people in this country being tipped beneath the poverty line. The cost of living will go up again, interest rates will go down more slowly, so families will be stuck in a downward spiral, unable to buy a home or afford the basics they need. Small businesses will not be able to pay their way, unemployment will go up. So pretty soon anyone bigging up this war will be drowned out by those suffering as a result. And that won’t just be in the UK but in Europe and the US.
