Trump says second American airman rescued alive and well.

AGAA4 If the plane and pilot hadn’t been dropping bombs on innocent people he wouldn,t have had to worry about being captured!

The pilot and aircrew are following orders.
Do you think they should have unilaterally refused to go?

If the whole of the US Forces mutinied and refused to do the bidding of their Commander-in-Chief who never served a day in his life, now that would be a different matter!

I think it must be true.
Surely even Trump wouldn’t be foolish enough to lie about this?

Oh, as Aveline says, I think His depths of foolishness know no bounds, JenniferEccles

I do hope this is not fake propaganda.

No life is worth more than his …
AI see ISRAELIS BEMOANING ABOUT BIMBINGS TO AND ABOUT A death of a child…pity they didn,t realise what they were doing when thousands of babies and children were being bombed by them ….but of course they think they are superior to Palestinians and have shown that for decades by their abhorrent treatment.
It really is time these warmongers were brought to justice..Tru,mp amd Netanyahu must be brought to justice for the bombings in several countries in the middle east .
Surely there’s no support from people with any sense or empathy

I very much hope this report is accurate and that the airman is now safe.

In the BBC report there were quite a few "according to Trump" type qualifiers which made me wonder how much of the news is true as Trump is famous for being a dishonest fantasist and a compulsive liar.

The reasons Trump started his illegal war were largely manufactured by his deranged mind.

The Epstein files are not just going to go away.

Too true. When this is over Mister Trump will have to face up to Epstein still reaching out to him from beyond the grave.

No man left behind.

........and HRH King Donald will take all the credit.

But will he declare the two airmen to be 'losers' just the way he's insulted Vietnam veterans with the very same label?

A bit rich, methinks, coming from a Draft Dodger.

It’s difficult to believe what any politician tells us is true, unfortunately.
Could be true as they have better tracking systems than they did back in the Gulf war (remember the two pilots who were captured).

There are reports another US plane, involved in the rescue, was shot down. Al Jazeera.

The report I heard this morning was that an aircraft (not sure it was a plane or a helicopter) couldn’t take off so the US destroyed it themselves so that Iran couldn’t get any of the tech on board 🤷‍♀️

I very much hope he has been rescued, but coming from Trump I’m not convinced.

If that poor airman is still in Iran it's likely he will be found by Iranians.
If Trump has lied about the rescue then when the Iranians try to bargain Trump can say he's been rescued by the US so no deal.
Trump would do anything that helps him even sacrificing his men.

What about the airman’s family?
If you think the news of the rescue could be false, what about his family?
They would have seen the news too.

I'll believe it when the airman is seen in public. Trump could say it was raining and I'd check for myself.
Of course I hope it's true but won't take his word for it

I thought exactly the same Aveline and Casdon. It is shocking that this is how it is with someone like Trump. If it is true then it is very lucky for the airman and good news.

Unfortunately that was my first thought as well Aveline. I really hope it is true.

To be honest unlike Trump. I'm not entirely sure I believe this. It's seems most unlikely. I certainly hope it's true but it could just be more wishful/boastful outpourings by that evil president.

It is difficult to believe a word Trump says. He lies consistently so this may not be the whole truth. The BBC did seem to be saying that it was a bit more complicated than what Trump has said.
I do hope though that the airman has been rescued.

What great news to wake up to this morning! I dread to think what could have happened to him if the Iranians had found him.

That's such good news, I'm really pleased he didn't get into the hands of the Iranian regime, he would have had a dreadful time. Of course, if Trump hadn't started this illegal war he wouldn't have been bombing Iran in the first place!

Thank goodness. His family must have had a terrible time awaiting news about him.

Thankfully the airman is safe back in the US. What an awful experience for him being alone in a hostile country knowing the Iranians were looking for him.
Apparently the US have lost two aircraft in the mission. They failed to take off and had to be destroyed to keep them out of the hands of the Iranians

A great relief for the airmen’s friends and families 👏👏👏
