He’s Not the Messiah….

Vance hired an enormous venue in Athens, Georgia. Hardly anyone turned up even though it was free. Someone called out that Jesus doesn't support killing babies and bombing children.

Could this really be the beginning of the end for Trump and his chronies?

🤞

Sometimes you do have to laugh, when it gets beyond ridiculous. A judge has ruled that he cannot allow the White House ballroom building to go ahead on the basis of Trump”s claim that it is essential for national security….

I was thinking I might apply for a massive house extension and see if that reason washes in Wales.
He is also planning what I can only describe as the Versailles version of the Arc de Triomphe, only obviously bigger, better, whiter, more golden, and shinier than any monument ever built before. It is truly tasteless.

It was very interesting that Turning Point and Erika Kirk didn't draw large crowds, which is rather a change from previous events.
I have no idea why there were low ticket sales for this, but I hope it is because people are sick of their grift. I will say that I believe Candace Owens is a factor in Erika Kirk's popularity right now. As I believe that the Joe Rogans et al of the manosphere are going to be a factor in Trump's downfall as well.

Vance just seems to pop up places making an ass out of himself instead of having any actual direction. And with his unpopularity, no one seems to take him very seriously IMO.

Now, to be fair, most of the VPs job is behind the scenes so we don't see it. Which is why MAGA insisted Kamala never worked while in office. To bad he can't summon a personality or some charisma when he does pop up.

I will never forgive that tyrant for destroying our house. Although if they seal him into the bunker, I could get behind it as it will be worth it.

I’m not sure about sealing him in the bunker imaround, as the orange ghost who can’t get to heaven would then be haunting future presidents for ever.

Joking aside imaround it must be upsetting to see what he's doing to such an iconic building.

It is heartbreaking to see. So much history being destroyed. I nearly cried when Melania tore out Jackie's rose garden during his first term. But I love historical buildings and learning the stories that made them what they are.

You do have a point Casdon. Instead, let's seal him in at Maralago. Then when it sinks due to the climate change he made worse, he will be all alone with the fishes.

That would suit much better. Surrounded by pointless and tasteless expensive glitter.

Maybe the floating plastic patch will come by and swallow him up?

In case anyone is keeping track, this seat was already a Dem, but this is another progressive candidate over a more moderate Dem. It continues the recent trend all over the country.

The pendulum continues to swing.

“I was watching an Amerian newsclip this morning with so called Catholic Vance. I couldn't believe it when he actually said that the Pope should stay out of politics”

Further, that he ought to be very careful indeed when opining on theology.

The Pope? 🤣

Unbelievable. Does Vance, the convert, believe he knows more about theology than the head of the Catholic Church?

It would seem he thinks he does.

Proverbs 26:12: “Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him.” - None is so blind as he who will not see.

Vance seeing himself as a better Catholic than the Pope is straight out of the Trump guide to wonderfulness.

Norah - proverb 26,12 is perfect for the Trumpions, thanks

Proverbs 26:12: “Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him.”

Excellent, Norah.

And terrifying, too.

I learned that Vance is allegedly Opus Dei. And Opus Dei don't agree with the Pope on much. Which would explain the arrogance towards the Pope, IMO.

Oh, it's a cult. That explains much.

It’s as though the USA is in the grip of the cult of Trump. Hard to believe that my childhood memories of a wealthy, advanced country have been demolished by a wrecking ball of psychopathic crazy

Yep. The United States of Cults and powerful white men.

I hate this timeline.

It must be awful imariund. One of my friends is active in democrats abroad. Still has family in the states, we have a real moaning grumbling everything is awful culture here currently. We need to count our blessings and thank god we don’t have Trump and co in charge

Sorry, I could not laugh - I found it deeply offensive.

And more worryingly, he seems to be suffering from advanced megalomania - the last leader who had that was Idi Amin, and before that Hitler

I don’t think it’s funny,either. Beyond a joke.

"casdon" I watched Jon Stewart who thinks he is supposed to be the dead guy.😂😂.

Must make you feel helpless often and. yes so angry.

I have to take a break sometimes for my mental health. He will still be doing stupid things when I get back.
