I finally found some information on the suspect. Surprisingly, not a lot of chatter on this side, other than the worldwide debate of "was it staged", it has the appearance of no one cares. I have seen some SM posts of people refusing to watch any news until the topic moves on in the news cycle.

I have seen a lot of memes about school children needing a ballroom, so none of them are getting much sympathy.

And Bush - he attacked Iraq because of alleged links to 9/11 which weren't actually accurate that's without mentioning the WMD, so presumably he would be another one who should be taken out.

I admit that I wouldn’t have been sad if trump had been assassinated. He’s the worst POTUS in my lifetime. I thought Bush Jr was bad but trump takes the biscuit. All politicians lie, but trump lies all the time. He has no empathy or integrity. He doesn’t seem to care about international law. He refuses to listen to anyone’s advice. His behaviour towards women, particularly clever women is appalling. He is a sexual predator and he has been found guilty in court. Several women accused him of rape when they were children - it is all in the Epstein files which is a probable reason why he attacked Iran. He loves to distract. I could go on but it’s so disheartening. How anyone could support this man and hold their head up high is beyond me.

Almost finally, this man is causing so much chaos across the world, once he has gone (and he will one day) it will take many years for things to be put right.

Come now Galaxy, no one on here has expressed a desire to see any leaders shot dead! Yes, sometimes force has to be used and sometimes it’s totally justified.

Trump may have have been elected in a democratic way, but he’s behaved like a dictator since the day he was elected. He fires or otherwise penalises anyone one else, in his own country or any other country, if they disagree with him or try to stop any of his manic and dangerous actions.

This man has caused or been complicit in the deaths of many people. He has lied insulted other countries and tried to take land that belongs to others. Is it any wonder if he is attacked?
Having said that I don't believe killing anyone is the answer. Trump needs to go but not by violence.

Do I think it is extreme to wish a democratically elected president dead, er yes. Do I think a woman who watched her husband shot in front of her doesnt 'deserve a fright', er yes.
As a centrist lefty that would always have been my position. My politics/morality hasn't changed since Trump - if the progressives now think that, then it is their morality that has shifted, I don't want to join them.
