Reform's Makerfield Candidate's deleted SM statements - it tells you all about his grim and disgusting views

He is not fit for office. Did he really think - are Reform really so stupid - or uncaring - they neither did the reasrach, or worse, didnt care?

Here is what he posted. Thank you to Graphite, other thread for revealing this: I felt it needed a separate discussion post.

Its long. I urge GN's to read the lot.

On a deleted social media account, Reform UK’s candidate in the upcoming Makerfield parliamentary by-election, Rob Kenyon, made creepy comments about women, peddled baseless conspiracy theories, and called for a method of torture prohibited by international human rights law.
After Rob Kenyon was announced as Reform UK’s Makerfield candidate earlier this week, it was swiftly revealed that an old Twitter account of his had been suspended. On it, he expressed support for Donald Trump, referred to an “invasion” of asylum seekers (who he described as “illegal enemies”), and criticised government funding to protect Mosques.

Conspiracy theories
During the Covid-19 pandemic, Kenyon peddled baseless conspiracy theories. He suggested the media “were complicit” in “global tyranny” when responding to a post by Peter Sweden, a far-right influencer with a history of Holocaust denial; replied to someone who said the Covid vaccines “help a lot” by commenting, “What a load of crap”; and compared Covid vaccination policies in Australia to Nazism.

The Reform candidate additionally questioned whether the election of Justin Trudeau – who served as prime minister of Canada from 2015 to 2025 – was “rigged” and pronounced, “He can fuck right off”, in response to the chief medical officer Sir Chris Whitty urging people to get the Covid booster vaccine in February 2023. Kenyon told people to “take vitimins [sic]” and “stop having boosters”.

He also believes that climate change is “a middle class problem” and asked whether schools will be “teaching about the ice age and that the world has been getting warmer since then”. In December 2021, he suggested making the conspiracy theorist Neil Oliver a government minister.

Women, gender and sexuality

In several creepy posts about women, Kenyon suggested he would “love to smell & lick” Carol Vorderman’s arsehole said .... he loves how female rugby players handle their knockers ... and wrote: If it’s not tits and arse or rugby its politics

The Reform candidate also explained that he had been blocked from the Sky Sports Rugby League Twitter page because he “said something about womens [sic] rugby* suggested Labour are “the party for trannys”, and wrote, “What does his dick taste like* in response to a man commenting on a rugby player’s guns

Calls for violence
As well as promoting conspiracy theories and making derogatory comments about women, Kenyon has called for violence. On 5 April 2020, before he started promoting Covid conspiracy theories, Kenyon declared that someone eating chips on a beach should be waterboarded – a method of torture which is prohibited by international human rights law.

Two days prior to that he wrote that Richard Branson should be hanged, along with other businessmen, for accepting furlough money to pay their workers as lockdown kicked in.

We now know that he also likes to objectify women, promote conspiracy theories and call for forms of violence which breach international human rights law. Kenyon is totally unfit to represent the people of Makerfield

That's only part of it Wyllow, yet another deleted account of Kenyon's that HopeNotHate have exposed.

This man ran Josh Simons reasonably close in the 2024 GE taking votes from the Tories and was recently elected to Wigan council. It isn't as if he is someone new to the Reform stable.

I can't think what Reform are doing, possibly pushing the envelope as far as they can so see just to how many people will still vote for them if they put up the vilest of candidates.

I see that David Bull has been replaced as Reform chair (by Lee Anderson) allegedly to concentrate on being elected to public office. If Reform were serious about Makerfield why not run him as a big name against Burnham?

My gut feeling is that they want to lose this one as they relish the prospect of a Labour leadership contest and the damage that would do. With Reform it's always about maximum disruption - as we are seeing this week in councils around the country as new councillors admit they haven't a clue what they are doing.

In other news, rumours circulating that Danny Kruger could be about to return to the Tories. Said to be unhappy about Farage's bungs but could also be because polls suggest he could lose his sea at the next GE.

Jonny Gray was elected chairman of the East Wiltshire Conservative Association on Friday, May 15 and told members they would win back the seat, saying: "East Wiltshire did not vote for Reform."

Thank your the additional information Graphite. I'm posting it all over the SM I have access to.

I was actually shocked. Maybe your theory about them wanting to lose is correct, but he is toast as an individual candidate anymore elsewhere. Wonder how he feels?

Cossy Thu 21-May-26 22:07:31

What a truly and utterly disgusting man and he’s the best Farage can come up with?

Cossy Thu 21-May-26 22:18:08

The problem with Reform, as I see it, is that everything is just one big game to Farage, he truly comes across, to me, as someone who just wants to push, push, push, then take a step back and watch the carnage he creates, with a froggy grin.

He’s a very dangerous individual and counts in the fact that many (not all) of his supporters have not the slightest clue how Parliament actually operates.

Fast forward to 2029, let’s say Farage does get enough MPs (from defected Tories?) to form a minority govt and does so with the Tories (maybe).

He then attempts to push through his most popular “pledges” let’s call them, and manages to get them through the HoC, then the HoL through them out.

Then his dubious tax “pledges” go through and crash our economy.

Then he breaks both national and international asylum and maritime law when he “turns the boats back”

Then our NHS and care homes disintegrate as all non-white people are sent “home”.

Then Nige blames of his voters for all that’s gone wrong, leading to anarchy and riots in the streets.

Then…. 🙈🤷🏻‍♀️

Hol throw them out!

Fallingstar Thu 21-May-26 22:19:37

Cossy

Very true.
But will all this stop the faithful from voting for him?
I fear some Reform supporters are like Trump supporters inasmuch as they either don’t care about this kind of behaviour or behave in a similar way themselves. Perhaps is a bit of both.

Luckygirl3 Thu 21-May-26 22:22:07

This is simply who they are. My fear is that the people who vote for them are similar - then we need to really start worrying.

Wyllow3 Thu 21-May-26 22:30:37

I just read up on local news and one of our new Reform councillors has been suspended for similar remarks (not quite as bad, but bad enough!)

and the man has the cheek to stay on as an Indpendent

Misogyny crawls out of Reform again.

Well that is indeed the point, Luckygirl3 - there are people like that and as per over many other GN threads the effects of generations of boys bought up like that

and sadly the women in their lives either squished or going along with it "boys will be boys har har" are involved too.
