Great news, this entitled eejit has been found and arrested 9 years after he pushed a pedestrian under a bus.

“The 44-year-old has been detained nine years after a jogger allegedly shoved a woman into the path of an oncoming bus on Putney Bridge in west London on May 4, 2017.

CCTV footage of the incident appeared to show the runner, described as a white man in his 30s with brown eyes and short, brown hair, pushing the 33-year-old into the path of the Number 430 bus.

Oliver Salbris, the bus driver, managed to swerve and miss the woman’s head by inches, while the jogger ran on”.

I think he’s going to be in a lot of trouble, he deserves everything that coming to him.

*entitked to speak out not fork out 🙄

Women are perfectly entitled to talk about a crime against women.
This man has incidents of other criminal behaviour, he sounds very troubled.

I didn’t know about the other incidents. As I said I imagined the police must have had enough evidence to make charges. One would hope.
And of course women are entitled to fork out but having watched many true crime documentaries you would be surprised how many women scorned come forwards to try and frame their ex. But every claim made by an ex has to be investigated thoroughly of course.

Alleged crime obviously. But the point still stands, people are perfectly entitled to talk about a cctv clip which I assume was released by the authorities.

If the real pusher is out there he now has the suicide of this man on his conscience as well as his earlier crime.
Cannot imagine that the police would make serious charges against a man on the hearsay of an ex partner etc. I think most police officers know that ex partners can attempt to frame their ex in a fit of pique. Surely there was more than this.

It’s a real shame if it turns out it wasn’t him.
I thought it was cut & dry that they had their man.
Why would his partner tell the police it was him?
If it’s not him, sounds like the true pusher will never be caught.

Where did you hear his partner told the Police it was him? The pusher had brown eyes and this man had blue eyes so that seems unlikely.

I'd like to know where he was living in 2017 when it happened. If he lived in Chiswick then he would have taken a morning jog over Chiswick Bridge or Kew Bridge. He would never have jogged all the way through busy Hammersmith Broadway and down to Putney Bridge. I know the area and it's miles.

Think that there are plans to make doxxing illegal.

What is doxxing?

In light of recent events I think everyone should read this thread all the way through. This is what trial by media looks like.

This man has now taken his own life, having been condemned with absolutely no evidence and his sisters are adamant that he was innocent. I think it's heartbreaking to think that could be true and how he suffered not only from the Police investigation but from reading online comments.

Back in June his name wasn't known to anyone posting here so people were accusing an unknown person of committing a crime with absolutely no evidence or knowledge of what actually happened.

A salutary lesson I think for people to be more careful in what they post, not to jump to conclusions and never to act as judge and jury unless in court.

Quote from his sister:
"My brother woke up to a large handful of police officers wearing armed vests and with a film crew on the doorstep from the media."
While in police custody over the Putney Bridge incident, Brandram was also arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and Class B drugs.
The sisters said his mental health had been "deteriorating" following the arrest.
"His name was leaked on social media channels within a couple of days. And that's when the vitriol started online. Thanks to the leak," they said.
"He was reading everything that was online. Because he was still guilty online."

A man like that jogs every day with his dog. One day I was in his way on a narrow path and he shouted at me to move.

There are cases of people pushing strangers onto train tracks, as well as sone time ago, the young man who threw a little boy over the top of the safety rails at a museum or gallery.
He had apparently told people for some time that he had the urge to do it.
The human brain, eh?
It's a deep, potentially murky thing.

The police have said ‘Allegiances change’ so reading between the lines a partner or friend who knew who he was has shopped him. I wonder if they could be charged with something themselves, such as withholding evidence?

I would hope so. Knowing that maniac was at large and capable of such acts for all this time should carry a penalty for whoever kept such an awful secret.

Chestnut Wed 17-Jun-26 11:23:57

I think the reason for the push is the big mystery. There is no logical reason, so we are left wondering why on earth someone would do that to a stranger. I just wonder if people are nervous walking across the bridge now.

I always have an instinct to stay away from edges of platforms or pavements myself. Not only might someone push into you but traffic sometimes comes right to the edge of pavements. You are not safe standing on a kerb. I remember seeing double decker buses go quite fast down a hill and almost touching the kerb. If someone was standing on the kerb chatting to a friend they would be mincemeat. You have to take responsibility for your own safety at all times.

Have seen runners get irritated by people who are in their way and slow them down

But that’s just the point FallingStar she wasn’t in his way there was loads of room if I remember rightly he had to lean over to push her.

Jill Dando is an absolutely puzzling case.
I tend to think she was perhaps going to host a "dispatches" type progamme, and somebody, or somebodies, wanted to silence her.

Chestnut Wed 17-Jun-26 01:00:47

I crossed that bridge every day to school, either walking or on a bus. That is the third very high profile unsolved crime on the streets where I played as a child. First we had Suzy Lamplugh in 1986, then Jill Dando in 1999 and then the Putney Pusher in 2017.

Hopefully this one is solved, although he has been released on bail and not charged as far as I know. It would be great if the other two were solved, but I don't think it's possible now.

I can't help but wonder how his victim has felt, over the years.
It must be really hard to put something like that behind you.

I bet she doesn’t go near a curb edge!

He really is an entitled pratt. Arrogant. How he has lived with himself I just dont know but do people like him have a conscience.
I think Plevey was right the first time.
I hope he does time inside as well.

And if I was the wife of a man who nearly killed a woman I would have rung the police as soon as I found out. Knowing what he is capable would have raised a massive red flag.

Absolutely 💯
