His full manifesto reads as follows:
I will boost the region’s economy, prestige and fame.
I will cut your taxes, and raise everyone else’s.
Bus fares to be capped at £1.99, and 99 Flake ice-creams to cost no more than 99p.
I promise to spend more time in Clacton-on-Sea than in Washington DC, and to champion the area.
MPs who resign mid-parliament to be barred from the resulting by-election.
MPs who change party mid-parliament to be forced to face a by-election.
I pledge to build at least one affordable house.
Arcade grabber games to be made fairer so players actually have a chance to win.
Oil and gas companies to pay for solar panels for everyone. (From Jack, aged 10)
Regeneration of Walton Pier so it is just as great as Clacton Pier.
A windfall tax on cosy crime novels written (or 'written') by celebrities.
Potholes to be filled, using copies of the 2024 Labour Party Manifesto.
Parliament to be moved to my new Bin HQ, in Weeley, while the Palace of Westminster is restored.
People who drive past Clacton station with annoyingly loud exhausts to lose their licence.
I will not accept £5million gifts from crypto billionaires (on Earth).
A referendum on whether Pluto should regain its planet status.
The hand-dryer in the gents’ toilet at the Great Himalayas restaurant, Southport to be moved to a more sensible position.
Wayne Rooney to be new expert summariser for the BBC at Eurovision.
Count Binface to represent the UK at Eurovision 2027, with Clacton hosting Eurovision 2028.
I stand by my past manifestos: Ceefax, speakerphones, nationalising Adele, renaming HS2 ‘FFS!’, the hand-dryer at the Crown and Treaty, I’ve got it covered.

Yes we are 😊
So it’s a dustbin or a right wing lunatic? Wow! The mind boggles.
That seems to sum it up pretty succinctly.

Of course.
This is the UK 😀
Artols I do not know why Farage is called Bin face, haven't looked it up and cannot believe some of these posts, only read a couple to get an idea. It's called humour by some I guess. You have Trump!
If binface wins, will he meet his constituents dressed up like that? 😂
Farage is not called Bin Face.
Farage and Count Binface are just two out of 34 candidates in the forthcoming Clacton by-election but are the two receiving the most publicity.
Maremia
Will they do as KB has suggested, and screen a debate between the Candidates?
I LOVE this idea!!!
What, all of them? Or perhaps a select few.
Would Farage say yes
nanna8
Just because Farage is a dick doesn’t mean another dick should also stand.
Why do you think Count Binface is a dick?
So rude!

British sense of humour.
Don’t forget (or perhaps you never knew) that this is the nation which voted for a new arctic exploration ship to be called ‘Boaty McBoatface’.
I meant to thank you too Suzysues I honestly think that if the bin wins (not sure if he technically can be sworn in) I think he will do his best for you.
He has said he will move to be there and have surgeries so that's a good start.
I think far from turning the area into a joke it's a way for local people to finally make a difference.
🤞
And we know he's sharp, intelligent and witty so that's a bonus.
I imagine Farage would only enter into a debate if the audience was rigged in his favour. We know he crumbles under scrutiny and just becomes even more offensive than usual.
He threw a strop in 2024 when he was debating with Adrian Ramsay from the Greens because he didn’t like the questions.
He certainly wouldn’t like questions about his own and Reform’s dodgy money, about which we are learning more each day … which is why we are where we are.
Makes no difference if he wins on the 13th. It’s just the B movie before the main show once Parliament resumes.
My favourite social media posts of the day:
George Cottrell famously wrote a book called How to Launder Money and the best he can do is via his mummy?

His mother still does his washing?
For those of you who think I’m not British born, I am from Yorkshire and still have my Northern sense of humour. All politics are laughable these days, but Britain seems to be particularly so at the moment.
Nothing in the UK can compete with the tragicom occurring in the US just now.

No politics aren’t laughable. The impact Trump has had and is having on the lives of people all over the world is not laughable.
The combination of the main parties refusing to nominate candidates, and the clear intelligence and thoughtfulness of the man under the dustbin has done more to show up Farage for the charlatan he is than even his original decision to resign and restand forcing this totally unnecessary by-election on the electors of Clapton.
As a result both Farage's and Reform's position in the polls countrywide, is falling. Long may this continue.
If Farage is losing his shine, will Rupert Lowe’s party Restire be the beneficiary? Many voters attracted to Reform UK won’t go back to the UniParty. They are too disillusioned with ‘business as usual’.
And the rubber boats keep coming. 700 arrived yesterday alone. The boat was a long as a bus.
Stop the Boats (Sunak)
and
‘Smash the Gangs’ (Cooper)
Nope.
Funny really, I actually live in Clacton and although never voted for Farage I am very happy with the way things are going. I have the intelligence to understand that when you are leading a party which is still very new you can’t always be in attendance in your constituency. I have emailed questions twice and they have both time been promptly answered. Maybe don’t believe everything you read on mainstream.
Why can't he be in attendance in your constituency, if that is his day job?
Why can't he be like other MPs and meet constituents?
Doesn't have to be face to face. It is well known that Farage is comfortable with video appearances.
Farage isn't really leading a new party, though, is he? It's just a reincarnation of the ones he's led over the past decade, with much the same focus...

And what words would you use to describe your right wing President? Does he get seriously discussed on online forums similarly in the US?

Not sure the Clacton residents would be willing to pay Fargae for his MP video appearances so Farage would be missing out on his Cameo income? He has to put his personal priorities first 😂
As Maizie says, it isn’t a new party. It was the Brexit Party which Farage lead from March 2019 (and UKiP before that). It just changed its name to Reform.
Johnson won the December 2019 GE so full term would have been December 2024. The party had the same length of time as anyone else to prepare for subsequent elections.
Reform comprises a mix of old UkiP members, more recent Reform members and Tory defectors - which is why it is riven with infighting - as described by Rob Lammas:
conservativehome.com/2026/06/17/robbie-lammas-i-made-a-mistake-defecting-to-reform-they-are-not-a-serious-party/
Note his comment:
The strangest thing is just how many in Reform really dislike Nigel Farage.
This explains why some of them are now spilling the tea to journalists about what the £5 million bung from Harborne was really for.
Sounds like many of them would like to see him gone. We know he has form for walking away when he's had enough and this could be another of those moments.
For all the hype and bluster, he knows he could never do the job of PM. His favourite role is to stand on a platform and moan about "Broken Britain" with no clue how to fix the things that are wrong. He must be fuming over Burnham's positivity.
