I was surprised to read reforms definition of what constitutes violence.

Violence = throwing a milk shake at Farage.

Non-violence = biting a police woman.

He needs to make this speech to the Conservative party. It was announced today that if they get into government they will give council house tenants, who were born outside the UK, 6 months to find other accommodation. Council houses are allocated on the basis of need not immigration status with priority being given to those who are homeless, who live in severe overcrowding or are suffering medical hardship. I am appalled that families who have been living in this country for perhaps years, who have settled status and who are here quite legally, have contributed to our economy, often doing jobs that support the NHS and care sector and who have children settled in local schools, could find themselves homeless. Where is the "humanity" in this?

Sir IMc must care strongly about this issue, because in general he keeps away from any political areas preferring to address his concerns about social equality for gay people.

It's good to use art on stage to convey opinions in the vein of Shakespeare. A few politicians use/used the same technique to good effect and it can add weight to arguments just as effectively as modern day social media voices. Immigrations is timeless and universal.
.

By the way, I'm not bragging here, and you needn't bother to read this, but DH worked with Sir Ian during his days in West End theatre. A very purposeful man with a passion for getting his message across in a well thought out manner.

Many people should listen to that speech. It seems we haven't changed in 400 years.

It is isn't it. He's quite some actor. It seems that the play itself was a collaboration, but that this speech is attributed to Shakespeare.
