It was a joint case I think, with a number of claimants, so I think the £9m is a joint charge, not individual.

I hope someone in the group of litigants pay Doreen Laurence’s bill. She has claimed that she was coerced into sueing.

Why? And what charities? I don't read the DM so am not invested but if the claimants had won would you have been directing them to donate it all to charities?

How is Doreen Lawrence going to pay it ? Poor soul - as someone suggested, the others can share her costs.

Oh, I'm sure he would - or will - take great pleasure in doing so as he appears to thrive on such activities. I think a few on this thread would be delighted too if he were to do that. The fact that there are two innocent children in the family seems of little consequence.

She was coerced by the charming Harry. He lied to her in order to get her on side despite the Daily Mail having been a supporter of her quest for justice. It gave the case an air of respectability to have Baroness Lawrence as one of the claimants. Otherwise it looked like a bunch of disgruntled celebrities. Harry told the Guardian after they lost the case that he would not see her out of pocket. We shall see.

I wouldn’t mind betting it won’t be long before Meghan appears on British TV in either an acting or presenting role. Not promoting the Sussex brand - that ship has sailed but there will be a job for her somewhere.

The payment to the Daily Mail is to cover their legal costs in fighting this case.

It is normal for a losing litigant(s) to be expected to pay the winner's costs.

I have steadfastly held on to watching Corrie during some dire storylines and characters but if Meghan pops up on the cobbles that will be it for me.

If she was offered a million to run naked past Diddly Squat and the gauntlet of the muck-spreader, she would probably consider it.

I think maybe, after Australian Masterchef, celebrity reality programmes might be her way back in.

For sure she would boost their viewing figures and it might give her a chance to reset her image if she came over well n her interactions with others.

That’s what Id be angling for if I was her Agency.

1-They've run out of money... poor dears are down to their last 30 million.

2-The Americans, even her own, can't stand them and don't want them.

3-Charlie boy is not well at all; his cancer is awful, and he could die at any moment, so Hairy and Migraine are ''deeply concerned'' about his will....

4-I don't believe their ''kids'' actually exist, and never have. I think they use other kids for photos or some type of prop.

I’m sick of the publicity already. The late Duke of Edinburgh reportedly told Harry, “you date actresses, you don’t marry them”. Shame he didn’t listen. He’s fallen under her spell. Shame.

Meghan is reportedly in discussions with Guy Ritchie to join the third season of the Gentlemen which was filmed in the Cotswolds but has yet to receive an official green light.
