I think Birmingham Airport is slightly nearer to Althorp than it is to the Cotswolds, but that is dependent on the area of Cotswolds.

Anyway, I believe she has not come with them. I hope she'll be all right as she has been the one grandparent allowed in the children's lives. Perhaps she'll be able to come for prolonged visits. There must be other grandparents on here who know how she must be feeling.

Well, we've had nearly 10 days of the subject and no one knows any more than when the thread started!
No one knows what is true about M & H's return, so it stands to reason that a few posts will concentrate on their past unkind behaviour towards members of their family. The slagging off started with the criticism and mocking of the Royals by H & M themselves!

Whilst I agree with you, it won't happen. I think it says more about how like sheep some people can be that they are led by a press who has an agenda against the couple because they dared to stand up against their scurrilous practises. The press did what they usually do with Royals, Celebrities and the like. They bigged them up, then pulled them down. They thought they'd never get the stories questioned because of the Royals' never explain policy. I wonder how many of us could read lies about us daily in the press and never want to defend ourselves. I know I would find it hard, especially when you know people within the family organisation were behind some of the stories.
H&M certainly aren't entirely innocent in all this but they don't deserve the hatred they get on here.

I don't think people hate them.
I think they don't like what we've seen of their behaviour, feel they haven't behaved very well and that they didn't need to tell the world about everything going on.
Some things are obviously lies and it's all very unnecessary.

Some are maybe exasperated and fed up of the "saga" of it all.

I do not think we are (any of us on here) in a position tohate them!

Yes I agree, hate is too strong a word, lets reserve that for the real monsters on the world stage, take your pick!

Perfidious is how I'd describe H&M and of course the whole strained family relationships, resonates with many in real life. which is possibly why so many relate to it, particularly if they've been on the receiving end of similar treatment themselves. Honestly! collude with the media in many ways is like doing a pact with the devil it often rebounds.

Hate is an extreme emotion.
I dislike H&M strongly. I would say I despise what they have been trying to do for the past six years, which is to undermine the British monarchy whilst attempting to exploit their connections for publicity and financial gain. Regarding them personally I know more about them than I do about my near neighbours, and the bulk of that information has come directly from their own mouths, unsolicited.

All the royals use the press to get out their 'truth'. The media work hand in hand with them. H&M are devisive protagonists who the media exploit to make money, and divert attention from other more important news. Which makes them valuable to many fractions.

It has been said H&M have 3 problems they are addressing by negotiating a return here. One the visa problem, seems very likely given his own admission of taking drugs, that his visa would be revoked. So he jumped before he wad pushed. Two they need a way of making money as most things haven't worked out too well for either of them. Three, Megan has made it clear in the past how 'uncomfortable' her life here was. So could we see a 'soft' separation in the future? Her spending more time in California with the children in school holidays, whilst Harry builds his life back here?
Ignore all of the above if there is a list of unusual events that puts Harry directly in line for the throne - unlikely but a juicy job not even he would turn his nose up at, I'll wager🤣
