I agree with those who think that payment of Harry's huge legal bill is conditional on his return to UK.
It's a shame that the children are caught up in the fall out of all this nonsense.

I wish the children well but wonder if they will have to wear balaclavas to school.

Perhaps Catherine will wear some nail polish in a sweet nod to Diana. Or Meghan will accidently cough. I can hardly restain myself.

Hate to mention the C word whilst we're still in August, so I won't, but I'm pondering on the mid winter festivities that usually play out with a royal gathering at Sandringham. Those might be interesting this year. Maybe they won't have them there though given the proximity of he who has been banished.

Even if not working royals, will that make a difference to their worries about that?
And if they are broke[not sure they are at all totally broke] who will pay for it?

There are some awfully harsh critics on here regarding Harry and Meghan. Personally I'm happy for them to start reconciling with their family, the King is a father of two boys and whilst he has worked closely with William especially since the cancer diagnosis, he has been estranged from Harry. Harry's visit to his dad recently seems to have been a start and if it can eventually make peace with William then so much the better. Yes, H and M have made some terrible mistakes but there is no doubt that the press have had a hand in attacking Meghan for quite some time before they made the decision to leave. There has been no intimation that Harry wants to restart Royal duties so to specualte on that is useless.

If you can honestly say that if you were in the same position as the King you would not want a reconciliation with your estranged son if it was offered then perhaps you are free to be judgmental, I personally would like to see them back in the fold in whatever position, working or not, that the King is happy with.

Who cares.

Really don't care at all about what they do but it's time we had another soap to watch.
I did hear they are keeping their homes in the US and Portugal so maybe hedging their bets to see how it goes?
I seem to remember Harry having said something along the lines that his family need to apologise before he forgives them and can reconcile - over to you Wills!

I wonder if Mr Clive Anderson and Mr Flannery heard a month ago that Harry had applied to enter his children in to
Uk schools and had found accommodation for the family ?.
This might be the reason that they are both leaving the Kings employment after 20 years service.

They have out of money for sure, if they return as private citizens fine, but will they?. Maybe seclusion alongside uncle Andrew would be the best place for them.

They are still part of the Royal Family and will have to get security as appropriate, no police authority is going to want harm to happen on their patch

I can confidently say that their idea of being "broke" is vastly different to the large majority of us.

Down to their last 20 or 30 million maybe, compared with turning the thermostat down and putting a vest and an extra jumper on to save on your heating bill.

Children do change schools, countries not so much, and these children are very young.
It seems as though they are now attempting to attach themselves to the Spencer family, not one of the most balanced, as they have previously discarded the Windsor and Markle relations apart from Doria.

And you know this, how? This is all reported by "sources," cannot be proven either way and certainly did not come from the horse's mouth. Half the stuff spouted on here is from similar sources and may or may not have any veracity at all.

Perhaps he is planning be heavily involved and maybe even initiate events commemorating the deathof Princess Diana.

Apparently there will be things going on for the 30th anniversary if her death.

Also pre Invictus stuff and then the Games. Then I think they'll probably return to the USA with a renewed celebrity profile and future promotional material.

Just listening to the BBC news and reading between the lines their security arrangements seem to have been reviewed ?? Back like a shot if the British Taxpayer is now paying for their security. That's saving them probably about £4-5 million a year which I think would be roughly the cost of American Private Security for a family of four . (Guardian researched this about 3/4 years ago and it was £2 to £3 )mill then.They're not rich enough for this not to matter.
I don't believe for a minute that KC didn't know. The last visit was to be choreographed as an introduction to this , but it all went wrong in my view
