All these posters coming on to say 'who cares'. It's hilarious. Why even click on the thread title then?

For the same reason as you’ve come here to comment on posters who have said, “Who cares.” It’s a chance to share an opinion.

Running back to daddy for more handouts! Maybe due to the fact that his visa residency is not being renewed? Meghan can always get a job on Eastenders or Corrie? The wags of the midlands will be happy to befriend her! Don’t think many are bothered. Just hope we won’t be saturated by press gossip🙄😡

I am one.
They had so much given to them, despised it, wasted opportunities other people could only dream of, then turned on both sides of their family, and castigated them relentlessly.
Then:
"Harry said words to the effect that his family needs to apologise before he forgives them and can reconcile."
Diana's vibrant star of a son. ?? Apologise to him ??
I don't want all the media full of the smirking faces of this talentless, selfish couple.
And I shall continue to complain and voice my opinion, just as others voice theirs.

If you don't care or are not interested in a thread, the obvious thing is to scroll by and find one that interests you. Its a waste of time to post simply to announce that you don't care.
I find the 'Harry and Meghan comedy show' highly amusing and therefore read and post on threads about them.
I don't post on threads about people or subjects I'm not interested in just to say "who cares"

I didn't for one moment think the bland opening post on here yesterday evening would go off in so many directions, but I guess that's inevitable with over 150 posters commenting.

No one really knows H & M's reasons for returning, what has changed for them, or their financial situation, or their future intentions, but like a lot of posters said, I do hope the move is the right thing for the children. So I suppose I do care, in an indirect way.

Just to clear up a couple of comments - having myself connections with schools that royal/celebrities' children attend, (not bragging here, just making a point!). EVERY royal child does not have a security person with them at all times in school . No way, do bodyguards sit at the back of the classroom, that would not be acceptable to other parents.

I still think they will do good & prove the neh-sayers wrong. I'm not a royalist but I think Harry is very similar to Diane, he has that special something, a warm human touch & I'm sure he'll come-into his own. I really hope so anyway. 🤞

Cannot be easy living your life in the spotlight from an early age. The very public divorce must have hurt too and losing Mum.
Her playing the race card with such a chip on her shoulder (despite trying to erase her coloured heritage on screen) and not trying to fit in but many reported airs and graces with palace staff (probably used to doing their thing in a specific way and resistant to change). Used to being the "star" and few having even heard of her in the UK.

His Majesty has always been supportive, even through suggestions that Harry was not his son at all.

Perhaps he just wants to bring his children up in the UK amongst their cousins - let us hope that William gets the poker out of his behind.

Trump hates her snd his Visa may be due to expire plus not getting enough attention in US! Call me cynical.. but what happened to I cannot guarantee my family's security in UK. They have ulterior motives....time will tell. They cannot stand having no attention....

He returned penniless to his father and was prepared to work as a servant. He was full of remorse, accepting full responsibility for his actions and seeking only his father's forgiveness; repentance being the point of the parable.

It is not totally irrelevant.

How do we know what discussions took place between a father who has not been well and his errant son?
But this does have parallels although perhaps the prodigal son did not spread rumours and produce a scripture about his family. He just squandered his inheritance, ending up broke and hungry and thought "I know, I'll go home to Dad. He'll help me out again".

The prodigal son may have deserved forgiveness, perhaps, but the best robes, jewels, fatted calf, feasting and celebrations?
Whilst the dutiful son was not invited and just carried on working in the fields until he heard the celebrations.

I wonder how this will pan out?

Breaking News says Harry will likely favour the Cotswolds to be near the Spencer estate and family. Lucky old Cotswolds, if true.

Well, the Spencers don't live in The Cotswolds.

However, several members of the Royal Family have homes there.

I am definitely not a fan of Harry’s behaviour regarding his tell all book or the interviews that he and Meghan have done. No need to wash one’s dirty linen in public.

I am a fan of family, and they have an English family who do not know their children.

We are told time and time again that the family unit is important for children, especially grandparents, whether they happen to be the King and Queen of the U.K. is irrelevant they are still granny and grandpa.

We have been estranged from our youngest son and only GC for more than 13.5 years missdeke and would not want reconciliation.

If this is what Charles wants with H & M I wish them well.

The message in the Prodigal Son is one of forgiveness and love when there is repentance. The son in the parable didn't think I'll go home to Dad. He'll help me out again.. He had no expectations which is why he hoped only to be allowed to remain as a servant.

Wanting nothing more than a lowly position in his father's house was a demonstration of his repentance. So far there has been no public demonstration from Harry of repentance despite his and Meghan's public betrayal and humiliation of Harry's family.

That, MarieElla, is entirely your choice and prerogative, just as it’s mine to
post that “I don’t really care what they do”, those of us posted this have added a “beyond”, like beyond hoping that they make peace with their families, or hope the children do well here.

It’s not really up to you to tell us what to “scroll by” or whether we are “wasting” our time.

A poster (???) on this thread told us that an expert on the ITV morning programme said that EVERY royal child has a security person with them at all times in school .
And the poster then asked if bodyguards sit at the back of the classroom ?
That's what I was clearing up. That a so called "expert" in the media can get things wrong.

My guess is they are not getting enough attention in the U.S. Its a huge country with a lot of 'celebs' and A listers. As proved by the Beeb running the story as its main headline for most of the day, they can get much more coverage here.
