I utterly and completely fail to understand how and why people won’t consider that their constitutional rights might be somewhat skewed!

RIP three primary school pupils flowers😢😢

Awful. They apparently sell pretty pink guns to young girls for their use. I think it is time they moved on from the Wild West Frontier mentality. Thank the Lord most of Europe and now Australia are not like that , though we were late arriving there and it took a massacre to wake us up.

The American Constitution (set in stone apparently) was drawn up in the pioneering days when the settlers and colonists were fighting wolves, bears and shooting the Natives in a relentless land-grab.

Why on earth they cling ferociously to the destructive 'right to bear arms' is beyond me. The shoot-first-ask questions later philosophy seems to suit modern Americans though.

My thoughts are with the families of the children 💐💐
Of course last time there was a school shooting Trump suggested teachers should be armed 🙄
As someone who watches true crime documentaries from the US and having lived in the US briefly as well as having family there, I can safely say that guns are everywhere, and they are completely acceptable with many if not the majority of American people. Children take them from the family home and use them to commit crimes, friends dropping in pick one up off the coffee table and shoot the host. Have seen so many documentaries revealing how guns are part of everyday life and part of soaring crime rates.
Don’t think they will ever persuade people to change their minds on the possession of guns is too culturally entrenched.

An adult was killed as well . Not sure if it was a teacher . I read that a bystander shot dead the shooter. So of course that will be a pro gun argument by Trump and the NRA

It seems that, no matter how many school shootings continue to happen, a significant number of Americans want to keep their gun laws and some even want to relax them.

I have tried to debate the Second Amendment with various people from the USA and although quite a few of them do see how crazy it is, many of them see it as a God given right.

I so agree, it’s utter madness!

Yes sorry, I believe it was a teacher and another child and teacher were critically injured, I think.
