Preparation for war

There has been some rather alarming talk about a third World War involving Russia and attacks on Europe. I hope this is just talk but I am beginning to think it is more than that with practice alarms and things like that happening recently. A very unsettled world. I was born post war but I can still remember the poverty and very basic living standards in the early 1950s. Some of my relatives lost their lives and my Dad spoke sadly of his many friends who were killed ( he was a navigator in the airforce) I really hope and pray it doesn’t come to this, very frightening with some of the dreadful leaders around just now.
