via mia has a certain ring to it. or would that be italian. It is a long time since I did my latin o level. might be via mea? mein strasse (is that right) would not work particularly well.
Popes are a multilingual relic from mediaeval days - when the aristocracy were fluent in french, english and latin. not many people who could chat in latin these days.
