I do realise that all can read - that's how I became interested in GN

I suppose it was just a surprise (and a thrill) to see familiar names.

Just ignore me, I was having another senior moment confused

When you click on the FORUM button at the top of the page it clearly states "......Please be aware this is a public forum and your postings are open for all to see. Please note that Gransnet has non-exclusive copyright in all submissions to Gransnet, and reserves the right to edit and re-publish these in print form."

Well said. We all like reading GN daily because it is interesting what other members say, far more interesting than the drivel you read in some papers and magazines. Quotes from GN cost nothing.

I agree with ga, this is a public forum which is why we need to be careful about what we post.

It is what it is Flower. Although we feel like a community limited to members, the fact is that Gransnet is a public forum and anything we write may well end up in the wider media. Permission doesn't need to be asked.

Looking through my Woman's Weekly today I noticed that there were several quotes from GNetters in an article about Grandparents. Is this OK. I know we are anonymous but is permission asked first. Some may have a problem with this.
