graceful - adjective

2. polite, mannerly, charming, gracious, civil, courteous, well-mannered She was calm and graceful under pressure.

She could have been using the word in sense, perhaps?

I can't believe I just heard this on BBC radio shock

Terry Waite is beng interviewed and the presenter described him as "graceful" in regard to his imprisonment and then went on to say that he must have made a "conscientious" effort to do something!!!

She's a lovely presenter and does some good interviews, but really .....
