I used to know the NATO phonetic alphabet, think I'd better start using it!

I use the phonetic alphabet too, I don't know where I picked it up from.
Our surname is a common word but spelt differently and I always have to spell it. Ours contains Lima Lima too.

A sideways comment. Our surname is a very very common one and people often say. " how do you spell that?" Doh.

I try to always use the phonetic alphabet but the person on the other end doesn't always 'get it' and that leads to even more confusion
