Do you own it?

Several times recently I have come across expressions with 'own' that are new to me.

Somebody said in an interview: "They must 'own' their reasons for doing so".

I've also heard: "You 'own' your behaviour".

Sounds strange to me.

Normal modern use of words greta and you ll get use to it It is used quite a lot at the moment it only sounds strange when you first hear it

I like it.

It's just a way of telling someone to take responsibility/ be accountable.
