I am sometimes too slow off the mark to switch off Any Answers (which can be like the DM on steroids) and I would have said honours were even.

What were you listening to?
I listen to LBC a lot, especially over night, and the callers are 50/50
Talk Radio/TV are definitely skewed more towards men (and the lunatic fringe)
Haven’t listened to 5 Live overnight for ages as I can’t bear Dotun Adebayo.

It was a genuine enough query

I listen to radio 2 when I am at work and all the callers that ring in think they are right, whether they are male or female but I guess that is part of having a strong enough feeling of being right or knowledgeable to ring in, in the first place. I am often astounded as to how many people think they are 'paying for' somebody else though. Especially when they are at home presumably, ringing in to the radio station!

He is a funny for all of 5 mins but after that he starts to irritate big time, Jeremy Vine does seem to get about 50/50 phone calls but I am sure it's the same people every day who only want to say" good morning to Jeremy & good Morning panel😡

Perhaps male radio callers are prolix because they don't get to talk much elsewhere.
