There was a guy on tv just now giving advice about grants and rebates, and 3 times he said "You can apply for this if you're illegible . Grrr. I thought I'd misheard the first time, but no ... 3 times he said illegible.

Nothing surprises me. I shouted at the tv today when a chap kept saying ‘nucular’ instead of ‘nuclear’. Another grrr here.

No good filling in the forms if they will be illegible Sparklefizz 😀

I think those are words where people get tongue twisted as well.
The other one which annoys me when written rather than spoken is defuse/diffuse they do have different meanings but seem to be interchangeable.
