I always taught this to differentiate between the words that
‘Where’ is often about a place. It has the word ‘here’ in it, which can also be a place.

What's the quiz?

I do an on-line quiz to keep my brain in gear. It is a good quiz but the presenter doesn't know how to pronounce words properly and it isn't his accent- I just don't understand how basic these things are and yet they get them wrong. I shout at him almost everytime he does it! Maybe he should have some questions on correct pronunciation.

I agree but I think some of it is to do with autocorrect. My laptop at work is awful wrt grammar. It tries to turn it into things that don’t make sense

Very common now on any discussion site. No one seems to know the difference and I have to stop myself correcting it.
We where there etc.
