The vet himself even admitted to having had an obese cat, which led to his involvement in the animal slimming club.
The series is fascinating, especially the surgery on horses. I bet it costs a fortune in fees or insurance!

Did anyone see last night`s programme, with the vastly overweight Basset hound? It wasn`t the poor dog`s fault, it was the stupid owner. He said that his dog had a wonderful diet, roast chicken, smoked salmon, hotpot, fillet steak, and cream cakes!! Needless to say, he was posh! How can anyone stand by and feed their pets like that, watching them get more and more obese, and still say that they`re responsible and loving pet owners? The dog came to the vet`s at first weighing around 6 stone.
