I am to have a puppy. All arranged by younger daughter , son in law and son in law who isn't ? Please be happy for Lottie and for me, we are lonely and the home needs joy .

And my physiotherapist agrees

Lottie been to vets, they have taken a sample, they said a tumour and I will know next week if malignant or benign. I am so fearful, trying to be positive. She and Phoebe went into the garden today, they ran around and around, lovely to see Lottie lively again .

Try not to worry Chuck . It will just be a harmless fibroidoema . She's being motherly bless xx

Thank you Danni, I fear becoming a meme person

DanniRae Fri 15-Dec-17 11:09:08

It doesn't matter where you posted it, we are here to help you Annie.
I really hope Lottie is ok - please let us know as soon as you find out xx

Not milk Jalima.

Sorry I posted this on a fun thread, I panicked and there was no one to tell.

NfkDumpling Fri 15-Dec-17 08:00:02

Phoebe is a lovely name Annie. Hopefully Lottie just has one of those lumps, bumps and cysts which older dogs get and will be fine, but it's best to check. A good thing you found it early.

Jalima1108 Thu 14-Dec-17 23:45:42

I hope she will be all right, but check with the vet.
Do you think it's hormonal? A mothering instinct now that the puppy is there, could it be milk?

Bathsheba Thu 14-Dec-17 22:43:21

Oh Annie you don't need another worry. It's probably nothing, just a lipoma, but of course you do need the reassurance of seeing the vet. Good luck and please do update us.

Anniebach Thu 14-Dec-17 22:32:55

Nooo, just tickling Lottie's tummy, she has a lump on a nipple, vet tomorrow, please let her be alright , frightened

Auntieflo Thu 14-Dec-17 15:21:28

Welcome to Phoebe. Happy days for you Annie with your new playmate. Hope Lottie doesn't get jealous.

Anniebach Thu 14-Dec-17 14:42:15

The nameless one has a name, looked through family tree,
She is Phoebe ?

NfkDumpling Thu 14-Dec-17 09:44:18

Fantastic! Hopefully she'll continue to be that good. I think the presence of another dog helps and Westie's are such confidant little dogs.

Have you come up with a name yet?

Anniebach Thu 14-Dec-17 09:14:27

Thank you all x

We went to bed about 11.30, puppy explored the bedroom , I took a large cushion in should Lottie get huffy and want it.

Puppy fell asleep in small, laundry basket I had left in the room, flat out. I woke at 3.00am she was sleeping on the big cushion snuggled up to a soft toy. She slept until 8.30 . Lottie still fast asleep on bed,

DanniRae Thu 14-Dec-17 09:01:39

I can't wait to see a picture of the new puppy. I always wanted a westie but somehow landed up with a jack russell/border terrier cross. Long story .................. but I love her to bits and her name is Lottie.
(Holly is a great name for a Christmas puppy - it was the name of my last dog - a Yorkshire Terrier - bought for me at Christmas!!)
Hope you and your Lottie have a wonderful time with the new arrival tchgrin

Willow500 Thu 14-Dec-17 06:34:11

Annie what lovely news to hear you've got your little dog already. We'd love to see a picture as soon as you can send one. I hope Lottie accepted her on the bed with you both smile

WilmaKnickersfit Thu 14-Dec-17 00:25:06

Aw Annie. I'm so pleased for you and Lottie will be fine. Hope the little one doesn't wee on the bed in the night! tchgrin
