I think my dog has got the disease. I was messaging backwards and forwards with someone who dedicates a lot of her time on dogs and owners of dogs who suffer from it . She is well known in the doggy lafora community.
Do any of you have a dog who has it and if so can you tell me how you have coped with it and what , if any , changes did you make to dogs diet and lifestyle ! to help it.
He has not been diagnosed at a vet as ....
1.....it's a very expensive thing to do with bloods having to go to the only place in the world who can test for it and it's in America .
2... A diagnosis would mean nothing anyway as nothing can be done to treat it . It's just a waiting game really.

Despite working as a vet's assistant for over 10 yrs I had to Google this.

I'm sorry to hear your dog may have it. Just curious, what breed is your dog? I read that it mostly affects the dax and beagle.
