Stay there, as long as possible ?

I stayed in bed until 10 today with a good book & a snuggly cat on top of me. It was lovely. They do sleep on the bed & I have no problem with it at all.

Our cats have never been allowed on the bed Grandtante
You are spoiling them ? all snuggles have to take place on the sofa ( then at least you are up....sort of).On a rainy day like today I was tempted to have breakfast in bed, listen to the radio and not shower until nearly lunchtime.
A delivery driver ringing the bell over and over put paid to that idea.

Enjoy it! Mine doesn't snuggle in the morning. He wants me to get up and give him his brekker.

My rescue cat is anti social at the moment but I hope there comes a day when she will snuggle down on our bed. Mind you she has made some progress and now sleeps on the spare bed so there is hope.

My cat curls up and sleeps on the bed all night but she is up and mooching around by 5.30 a.m. She doesn’t do lie-ins, but whenever I sit during the day if she is around she jumps up to snuggle on my lap and then I have the same dilemma as you. Should I stay sitting ....... or disturb her and get on with things? ?

Same as you do when you have a sighthound in your bed Make yourself a cup of tea and snuggle back down again! Best hot water bottle I’ve ever had!

What do you do when you wake on a cold morning with a warm cat curled up in each armpit purring away, and you have a vague feeling you ought to be getting up and doing stuff?
