Protecting our house from the parcel delivery man

Our Jack Russell sadly now gone would jump up and if he could would grab the parcel from the delivery guys hands.
We asked the guy to knock and put the parcel opposite the front door save his hand possibly getting nipped.
All the delivery guys do now and take a picture for proof and send it to our email.

Our daughters dog goes crazy if someone as much as put a foot in our driveway, she is ever vigilant and if they come to the door all hell breaks loose, she then, very calmly goes back into her chair and goes to sleep.
