My elderly dog is really shredding fur , she's never liked being brushed. Her hair is quite short and not usually a problem. But recently it's everywhere , my question is , can anyone advise me on the best way to clean her blankets etc . Obviously I wash them , but the hair is quite stubborn and not all of it comes off . Any advice please

Rubber gloves. I was given this tip many years ago.

Try washing pet bedding in Vamoosh - it's supposed to dissolve pet hair.

Thank you 😊

I bought a pack of Vamoosh Septimia hoping for a solution to embedded golden fur but the product has to be used on the hottest wash ..so in the cupboard it has stayed☹️

Look at Amazon for Electrostatic Magic Brush Gloves. They are amazing! Removes hair from clothing and carpets very easily .

I use a roller after washing. Works for me

My lovely vacuum cleaner is brilliant normally. But pet hair is one bit of my carpet is the very devil. I got on my hands and knees, and used one of those velcro-like clothes brushes.
(Reading back, yes, I do sound like my own gran sometimes!)

tumble dryer if you have one but you need to wipe it over before you put your next lot in

I keep meaning to buy one of those things that collects pet hair in the washing machine as Winnie’s short black hair goes everywhere and it sticks to the rubber seal. She isn’t allowed upstairs but I find little black hairs everywhere.

I've got one of those string curtains, and use one of those net zip-up things to wash it in. Would a cotton net thing work in your tumble dryer, JaneJudge?

You can buy a product at the Range that dissolves pet hair on bedding in the washing machine. Can’t recall the name atm but sure staff could advise.
