Just had a reply to the thank-you I sent to the "beaver lady"

"Thank you so much for inviting me (well, Roisin, but me by proxy!) I really enjoyed the talk and all the questions from the lovely ladies, they all did seem genuinely interested and enthusiastic, and I hope enjoyed the talk as much as I did. Also thank you so much for the very generous donation of £45.20 which has now gone into our beaver donations tin, it is very much appreciated.

I hope some of them manage a trip up to beautiful Argyll at some point in the future, and if they would like to come down to the beaver site, please tell them to get in touch, I’d be happy to give them a personal guided tour.

Thanks again.

Message withdrawn at poster's request.

GeminiJen not a good move to post that - get HQ to delete it (they will ) and instead ask people to PM you to get where to send it to. Of course, you may have ot by now, so you won't need to repost.

Hi Gemini - yes probably a good idea - we will withdraw that - do feel free to PM if you haven't had the pics

Don't know if this video will work. It is called Frank having a groom.
Just seen that you can adopt-a-beaver for £18

Doesn't seem to. It is a different format. Will look for a still photo and repost.

Elegran Tue 03-Dec-13 22:45:21

I rather think this one has been photoshopped.

If you are stuck for a Christmas present for someone, you can adopt a beaver for £18. No, you don't get to take it home.

Thanks for the link Elegran. I have actually gone for the red squirrel.. Sorry, I know your link and reason for beavers but GD1 adores red squirrels.
We took both GD's to Nairn during the summer where we saw some in the wild and I explained to her they were becoming quite rare so I know this would make a great Christmas present for her.

Ooh, you all look as if you had fun. I really hope to meet some of you all some day.
