Bless! grin

Marelli Wed 03-Feb-16 10:22:33

....so, phoenix, did you nip downstairs to wash your hands, then? Surely you didn't interrupt his slumbers, wee soul! wink

phoenix Wed 03-Feb-16 10:27:56

The temptation to turn the tap on was very strong, but I washed my hands using the bath taps instead!

Aren't cats funny creatures? Supply them with a cosy pet bed and they turn their noses up!

tanith Wed 03-Feb-16 11:03:25

oh my how lovely, good job you turned the light on I usually don't.

ninathenana Wed 03-Feb-16 11:08:32

grin ours hasn't tried the sink yet but dose sleep in some odd places.
We bought her a cat bed recently and put it under the radiator as she is now too stiff to jump into the hammock which hangs on the radiator.
She stood in the bed turned round twice got out and never went there again, fussy madam !!

merlotgran Wed 03-Feb-16 11:29:14

I suppose it's the cat equivalent of somebody sleeping in your bath after a wild good party.

Do cats get hangovers??

phoenix Wed 03-Feb-16 11:45:00

At least I know why the hand basin was looking less than pristine some mornings!

Alima Wed 03-Feb-16 12:05:40

We had a wonderful cat called David when we first got married. He slept wherever he wanted to. The basin, laundry basket, along the top of the electric fire, fruit bowl. In fact, wherever he could fit. Do hope you didn't wake him up!

smile

Just remembered, in the dish draining rack and on top of the video player inside a cabinet. He would get in through the back.

Charleygirl Wed 03-Feb-16 12:13:24

I thought that it would be more comfortable sharing a bed with yourself, Mr.P and Digby your other cat. It looks as though that whb was made for him, he looks so relaxed.

Anya Wed 03-Feb-16 13:02:56

That's made me smile

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 03-Feb-16 13:41:06

That is so funny. And sweet. smile

jinglbellsfrocks Wed 03-Feb-16 13:41:44

You need to line it with a nice blankie tonight.

That would have frightened the life out of me - we haven't got a cat!!grin

loopylou Wed 03-Feb-16 15:14:13

Me too Greyduster! For a few seconds I thought it was sleeping in the loo ?

phoenix Wed 03-Feb-16 15:37:13

loopy he's daft, but not quite that daft!

phoenix Wed 03-Feb-16 16:00:59

The comfy places available to him during the night include the bed in the spare room, the big chair in the office, a rather smart wicker cat basket with a squishy cushion on the landing, another one in the hall next to the radiator, and our bed ( providing Digby isn't taking up too much room) blush so why he the bathroom sink is currently his chosen place is a mystery!

Jalima Wed 03-Feb-16 16:25:48

It must be a bit chilly in the winter too!

Better than staying out all night like a naughty cat I know.

Greyduster Wed 03-Feb-16 17:16:28

He looks very secure in there, away from any draughts, and he certainly isn't going to fall out is he? smile

phoenix Wed 03-Feb-16 17:36:35

That's very true, Greyduster ! He is a clumsy chap, has been known to take a tumble when attempting a flying leap on to the bannisters!

wot Wed 03-Feb-16 17:39:51

Oh love his little heart!
