We've been asked by Boots UK to find 100 gransnetters to try out their new No7 Restore & Renew Day & Night Serum.

Here’s what Boots UK have to say, “No7 is the UK’s leading skincare brand who’s ambition is to allow women to tell their story through their own voice. NEW No7 Restore & Renew Day & Night Serum is specially formulated for more mature skin and actively targets the five key signs of ageing: wrinkles, lack of firmness, uneven pigmentation, fragility and dull skin. In clinical trials, after four weeks of use, both light reflecting characteristics and levels of natural moisture return to similar levels of younger skin. We’ve had great feedback so far, but we’d love to hear what gransnetters think about the product as well!”

This product test is open to all UK gransnetters. If you are selected to take part, you’ll be sent 2x15ml No7 Restore & Renew Day & Night Serum to try. You would need to use the product each day and night for at least 4 but preferably 8 weeks and then add your feedback to the feedback thread on Gransnet (we'll send you a link to this nearer the time).

Everyone who takes part and adds their comments will be entered into a prize draw to win a No7 skincare bundle worth over £100.

Boots may use any comments posted on this thread in marketing, editorial and/or promotional material so please only post if you are happy with that.

If you’re allergic to any ingredients found in cosmetics please check the ingredients of the serums.

If you’re interested in taking part please fill out the sign up form here.

Thanks and good luck,

GNHQ

I would love to try the serums if there are any places left. I use other No 7 products all the time.

BeeWitch Sun 13-Oct-13 10:52:07

I would love to take part - haven't tried any serums yet. Have read about them, but not yet taken the plunge. Not afraid of a few wrinkles, but intend to fight them all the way smile

I've been using the protect and perfect stuff for the younger age group for about 2 years. I wonder 2 things; 1 what would I look like if I hadn't used it and will I look better if I try the age appropriate cream?

I would be very pleased to try these products. I've become more and more aware in recent years of lines and wrinkles appearing. They seem to have appeared out of nowhere. They aren't too bad at the moment so anything that might help will be greatly welcomed. (It's not only me who notices them. My 8-year old grandson recently said, 'Granny, can you feel your crinkles?')

Yes please - I remember the excitement when the first protect and perfect serum was launched - love to be in on this one

snoopycat Fri 11-Oct-13 10:39:48

Yes please! Boots & No 7 products are household names. Tried and trusted. I would be delighted to feedback on these skin care products. To include the texture, fragrance, ease of application etc. I will be fair and objective in my feedback. I look forward to receiving more details.

I would love to try this new serum please as I use No 7 all the time.

sirihansen Thu 10-Oct-13 23:17:33

I've been using Protect and Perfect almost since it was launched and am a huge fan (also recommending and giving it to lots of friends and family), but at 55 I'm ready to move on to the next stage so would be very interested to see if this brings a further improvemtn

marioneliz Thu 10-Oct-13 21:53:19

Do like Boots No7, am currently using Airbrush Away Primer and it's very good.

ykellock Thu 10-Oct-13 20:06:56

I love the No 7 products and remember nipping out of work in my teabrak to queue up for the Protect and Perfect Serem a few years ago only to find a big queue half way up the town centre. Needless to say I waited in queue to get some smile

Nansypansy Thu 10-Oct-13 18:58:03

I'd be delighted to give the new Restore & Renew Day & Night Serum a try!! Anything to brighten my face (and life!!)

BarbaraAbbs Thu 10-Oct-13 18:47:05

Please put me in the draw to try some. I have used the serum before, a present from my daughter last Christmas. Gone now of course, and it wasn't I don'tthink, specially formulated for the over 60's.

Tudorrose Thu 10-Oct-13 18:40:22

I would love to test the serum, Iam a great fan of Protect & Perfect but feel that now in my seventies I need a little more help although lots of people say how good my skin is.I particularly like the use of plastic containers as they can be cut open for maximum usage. Good for Boots for not having "hidden wastage" like so many companies.

brummie Thu 10-Oct-13 18:19:26

I would love to try this.

abigran Thu 10-Oct-13 18:12:48

Would love to test these products. Normally use Boots Time Delay skincare products and would love to see if these are any better! [smiley]

Grannytwoshoes Thu 10-Oct-13 17:59:39

Love to try...have some wrinkles that refuse to budge!

Buddie Thu 10-Oct-13 17:48:04

I would love to trial this product as I find Boots No7 products generally suit my skin well. I have very dry skin which tends to be even more so during colder weather so this would be a very good time to put such a product to the test.
As the product is surely not expected to be used in isolation will there be any restriction on what other skincare one can use during the trial period e.g for cleansing and so on?

cangran Thu 10-Oct-13 17:38:41

I've been using the cheaper Boots Time Delay for Mature Skin range for some time, including the serum, and really like it. It would be interesting to be able to test and see how the new No 7 serum for over 60s compares.

Hameringham Thu 10-Oct-13 17:26:00

Yes please I would love to trial these creams. At 71 years young I have enjoyed using No7 products for many years. Still 'Looking Good' with No7!!
