Hopefully I will be the first to wish all you wonderful GNetters a very Happy and Peaceful New Year and thank you all for your support when I flag but am feeling festive at the moment. Cheers winebrewcupcake but those of you who know me will know I`ll be going for the old vino winewine

DH has already gone to bed as he has just finished night shifts and his old body clock doesn't cope as well as it used to.
I have finished my glass of wine and may go and join him

We have eaten well and enjoyed a drink but DH now gone to bed. Growing old is a b****r and I don't like it. Must accept it though.

Happy New Year, Dh and I are babysitting 2 dgs aged 1 and 2. The one year old eventually stopped crying at 8.30 and his brother has just gone to sleep. Just downed a white wine and off to bed hoping to sleep all night. Happy days!!

DGS has now been asleep for half an hour with the help of Calpol! So I'm off to bed shortly, I suspect he may awake around two o'clock when it wears off.

I have to say that I was hugely disappointed to read that Jools Holland's programme was recorded a few weeks ago! I suppose that shows how naive I am (thinking it was all live and that all the artists were happy to be working on NYE) on two levels.

I feel a bit like being told that Father Christmas isn't really real.....
